Can’t explain how delicious this is. Do yourself a favor and go try it out. I had the goat biryani and my husband had the daalgosht. Both superb. Service was also spectacular. Fan favorite 10/10 would come back.

Its a nice place for Indian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani food. You must try the Daal fry and have it with some Garlic naan or butter naan. You can even just try the Daal alone. Its delicious. Other foods that my friend tried were also good like goat and chicken curries.

We enjoyed a nice dinner here and the staff was attentive. Would recommend to family and friends if they are in the area visiting. I enjoyed the goat karahi. Food could have been spicier (we did request spicy). Overall a good experience!

Friendly staff and exceptional food. The portions are more than enough. Wonderful atmosphere as well. It’s rare for us to find food spicy enough for us and this hit the mark. You can ask for it mild, medium, or spicy. My boyfriend frequents this spot and says it’s his favorite place in the area. We’ll most certainly be back.

I can’t state with words how good Shyan’s is. First of all, it’s for sure the best Indian/Pakistani food in NOLA. The cheese naan and paratha’s weren’t just good, they were great. They had an extra level of flavor that I haven’t found anywhere else so far. The Chicken Tikka Masala had depths of flavor that any connoisseur of Indian/Pakistani cuisine knows is of the highest level. The Goat Karahi was spicy and hit in all the right areas. I couldn’t choose a favorite between the two gravy’s but they were both remarkably tasty. The service was beyond good. Very kind and welcoming and it’s a comfortable little spot to have a fantastic dinner.
