Beautiful restaurant with amazing views and a mosern steakhouse vibe. We had a fantastic server that was attentive and polite. The dishes were enjoyed by all. I had simple grouper on a salad with the crab soup. Gluten-free bread is available in the form of Brazilian cheese bread. On the upper end of pricing, but worth it!

My friends and I dined at Caretta on the Gulf for her Bachelorette. Our reservation was at 8:30. We are finishing dining now at 11:04. It took at least 30 minutes between being seated for our drink orders to be taken. Additionally, I had ordered 2 appetizers, and asked for the fondue cheese to be omitted from the crab cake, and it was smeared all over the bottom of the crab cake. I had also ordered a salad (the summer salad, sans cheese) and was treated to a salad with 2 giant globs of feta. Our meal continued to be painfully slow. Our party was a party of 6. We continued to wait for a painfully long time for our food. Not only was it overpriced, it was too salty, and it was incredibly disappointing for the prices and ambiance of the restaurant. Upon flagging down the manager to share our concerns, after waiting for our food for 2 hours, he simply said “oh your food is on the way now”. At no point were our concerns validated nor were our meals discounted in any way. This was the worst meal we had visiting Clearwater. I highly recommend not making the mistake of eating at this establishment.
