It’s a small little place. Quaint quiet calm are all the words that come to mind to describe the atmosphere of this restaurant. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is a hit or miss. I ordered brisket, which was incredibly dry. I don’t recommend the brisket, but the Chipotle Chicken sandwich was good and looked good, too. The seasoned fries were on point. Piña colada shake was good. Prices are decent. There isn’t really any parking other than street parking and expensive parking lots walking distance.

I ordered 1/4 rotisserie chicken, rice and steamed broccoli with a piece of cornbread for $15. The chicken was ok but everything else was bland. I will not be eating there again.

I ordered a brisket platter “From the Grill”. This random meat isn’t grilled, and it comes served with a thin gravy. Gravy meant for mashed potatoes or a Salisbury steak, which is EXACTLY what is tastes and smells like. You can’t just call some random beef roast a ‘grilled brisket’. That’s just wrong.

This is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. So many other restaurants have come and gone, but Texas Rotisserie and Grill has gone the distance. The people who work behind the counter could not be nicer. The meals are reasonable (chicken, two sides and corn muffin) are just under $15. The food tastes good, and it has a nice vibe. There is a little room inside to dine in but many (myself included) pick it up and bring it home. I wish them the best because they are such a nice business.

Great selection of barbecue and other comfort foods. Clean place with friendly counter service where you order your food and so at one of the many tables of you want to eat in. Delivery is available from the usual services but you can use their website directly and get a 10% discount.

Ordered Southern Fry Chicken for lunch. The chicken tasted like it just came out of the microwave. Sides was ok but Chicken was hard like a brick by the time I got back to my job. Will never buy again…
