Delightful sushi and ramen! Chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my family. Enjoyed a large table that fit us all. We ordered two miso ramens as well as a Rainbow roll and Alaskan Roll. The Alaskan was my favorite with the little lemon slices on top – love the citrus bursts. The staff was accommodating and allowed us to order avocado rolls fort children. Service was quick and checked on us for more napkins and refills. Would definitely return!

Great restaurant for vegans and those with gluten issues. They have a seperate gluten free menu that takes out the trial and error element of ordering food for those with sensitivities! I got a gluten free poke as well as their plum and shiso roll, my partner got kitsune udon (not gf). 10/10 would come again. Kitsune udon is a rare find!

I like sushi here especially raw fish sushi. Fishes are so fresh and tasty. But for the udon with shrimp or fried stuff, it is better off to request them put outside, instead of inside the bowl since it will become soft and bad when put inside.

Staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating. My brother and I wanted authentic Japanese after spending time abroad in east Asia and this did not disappoint. We had such a great experience. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Can wait to return and try other items on their extensive menu.

Everyone who works here is so lovely and sweet. It’s a relatively small place that’s in an unassuming plaza and yet- it’s some of the best Japanese food I’ve had stateside.

Quality was very good. Unfortunately, they were shorted staffed and even on a Thurs night, it took a long while for food to come out. Sushi was ready and sitting for at least 10min before it was brought to the table with the Udon soup, which was too hot to eat right away. Staff was very kind and apologetic for the long wait.

Cramped place. Good food but not worth the price they’re charging you for. Our sever was new. Instead of allowing the server to complete our order, the manager was telling her how the food was going to be served. Like dude… I get what you’re trying to do, but I’m trying to place my order and you’re interruption isn’t helping.

Kashin is hands down the best place in Raleigh if you want really really fresh fish. I’m a regular here for their friendly service, good people and the food is just SO good. Sometimes you have to wait longer than other places because it’s starting to get more popular, but that doesn’t mean the food quality is going down at all, plus it’s always worth the wait.

Wonderful food. Their sushi is so flavorful. The number 9 and 8 roll is very authentic.
