Update: came back. Service was horrible. Wasn’t busy and food took a very long time. Didn’t taste good and felt icky after eating it. If I ever get roped in to comingbhere again I will only be drinking. It is a good place to sit and relax.

Unique and ‘Country’ ….has good table service, and creative menu items plus other edibles, not too mention a huge selection of cider, beer & wine. Large outdoor seating area and a memorial wall for motorcycle riders that were in the military.

Great customer service, everybody checked on us not just our server, they were a cohesive team!! The cocktails are delightful and the food is delicious. The white claw freshies are refreshing and not too sweet. There was a live band playing and local art on the walls. Definitely worth a visit!!

This is a very fun place to stop for a drink on the way to La Conner, to meet a large group of friends or attend a fun event. Very friendly, funny and inviting staff. It’s a very fun atmosphere with good food and good drinks. It’s also a bottle shop and they sell some awesome home baked goods too. We’ll be sure to stop in here more often.

We were out looking at daffodils and then looked for someplace for lunch. We decided to take a chance on The Rex B& G. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is great. HIs chili is amazing, the corn bread is so moist you need to eat it with a form. My wife had the BLT and it was great as well. Next time we are passing through Mount Vernon, we will be going back.

Sandwich taste good, service is ok. Too small for the $15 price. Comes with a small bag of chips. No fries no hot food no burgers fish & chips or soups. Take a long time to get food even they’re not busy. Maybe I came on the wrong day on Wednesday.

A great little restaurant/shop to fall upon, but the terrible service overweighed it. The two blonde servers and the male cook this past Saturday were terrible – belittling customers who had requested lemon for the water as well as those who’d come up to the area to see the tulips and daffodils. Very no class, and we won’t be going back.
