This is a typical Chinese buffet with only 2 tables of main options, and one table with cold/dessert/sushi options. It is sufficient and the food was prepared acceptably. We were there a little early before dinner, so maybe they weren’t quite stocked up for the dinner rush. Nothing was a stand out dish – good or bad. It is an acceptable option if you want a buffet dinner in Farmville, VA.

So I stopped here because I seen a reply from the owner and I wanted to see if what the reviewer said is true. Some of it is. The food on the buffet is cold, mushy, and just not good. I came here at 4p and there is no reason for my food to be cold at 4pm. Leaving meat out to get cold can make people sick and can be dangerous. I understand not wanting to waste food but I would rather waste than get people sick.

I’ve been coming here for over 25 years. In the past year this place has become intolerable. No new food is put out past 7:00 p.m. any food left over from the night before is served reheated during the next day’s opening. It’s a well-known fact the Chinese food does not taste good reheated. It becomes nothing but a pile of mush. Food is never refreshed unless it goes empty in it’s slot. Sol food can be sitting there since lunch he did all day until it too is nothing but a pile of mush by the end of the night. I used to come here religiously every Saturday but now the last six or so visits have proven that there’s no reason to ever come here again. Sadly the only other option is a small takeout only Chinese place. Save you time. Save your money. Save your disappointment. Do not dine here.

I think the fried wontons are the best tasting ever. I’m not big on Chinese food but this place, the wontons are AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. The best I have ever eaten. I have eaten at several Chinese food places in past and present years.

Standard Chinese food buffet, but a bit on the small side. (Only 4 Buffet tables) Adequate food quality for the price – $10.99 per person. Service was quick, which was nice.

Restaurant was dated and looked like it hadn’t had a good cleaning since 1992. Bleached out food photos on the menu boards which could barely be seen behind all of the junk and handwritten signs taped up everywhere. $.50 for the 3rd sauce pack, no public restrooms, this that, and more. Two card tables setup with the $.50 fake tattoo cards that could have been bought out of the gum all machine around the corner. CD’s for sale on the second. Chandeliers we’re so covered in grease that they were yellow. I’ve ran restaurants and other retail businesses, and if this were my restaurant, I would have shut it down, had it cleaned and started over, just nasty.
