Traveling through and decided to stop here for lunch. We seated ourselves, and the server immediately came to our table to bring menus and take our drink order. Food and drinks came out in a timely manner but did not see much of the server after. The food was delicious, with smaller portions, but for the price, I can’t complain. Salsa and chips were delicious as well, but we had seven people and only two salsas and one basket of chips. They do charge a percentage for credit card purchases. Overall, it was a good experience and I would return again if in the area.

This is our hometown “go-to” for Mexican food. The food is good and mostly predictable. Great chips and salsa, and fresh flour tortillas. The only downfall is service can be hit or miss.

Ordered a barbacoa taco and a carne guisada taco. Both were extremely greasy, and the latter was full of fatty “meat” which I ended up giving to my dog. I know barbacoa can be greasy, but I kid you not it was pouring grease everywhere. The only good part of my order was the drink. Had decided to give them a shot since every other taco place in town was closed, but never again. Terrible terrible tacos and for $4+ each no less. I’d much rather go elsewhere.

We are camping at nearby Palmetto State Park but got rained on so decided to stow the camp stove and drive into town for dinner. Mr Taco was a godsend: warm atmosphere, polite staff, and tasty food.

Always a great meal with the friendliest staff around. They have something for everyone of every age, and breakfast is served all day! I like this restaurant very much, you might like them too.

We went on a trip south and stopped here for a snack before our destination. Got the chicken tenders which were mind blowing, as well as the street tacos. Not a single complaint. Super authentic. Excuse the pics. It was half gone by the time I got a pic.
