Riverside Pizza & Pub is a family owned and operated neighborhood pizzeria, restaurant and bar originally established in St. Charles, Illinois in 2014. The vision was to create a scratch kitchen with unique spins on classic dishes, complemented by craft beer, cocktails, and a robust wine selection – a modern spin on a classic pizzeria.
A few friends joined the team and opened the South Elgin location in 2016, Batavia in 2019 and Oswego in 2021. The concepts follow the same principles of creating a warm and inviting experience built on approachable, tasty food and beverages that people can come back to time and time again.

Fantastic pizza!! It was 1/2 price pizza on Mondays which I did not know so the place was packed. That is the only reason for the 4 star service because the serves could not accommodate that big of a crowd. Other than that the pizza was Amazing in my book. I can’t wait to go back! Plenty of parking in the lot up the street. St. Charles downtown is among one of my favorites. Definitely need to grab a pie from this restaurant!

A great place for pizza, burgers, or just a beer. If you’ve never visited you won’t go wrong stopping in here. Check the special offer of the day. They are eat in only (so don’t think you can just order a bunch of half priced pizza on Monday to go). My only complaint is that depending on where you sit (particularly upstairs) the music can be a bit loud. Other than that I have no complaints.

Server was very nice, building is cool. Nachos and spicy loaded fries were pretty good. Going to go get some half priced pizza on a Monday soon

The employees were great. Upstairs was closed so we sat at a table by the bar. My husband ordered a burger (1/2 price on Tuesday) that he said was not great. We also ordered a chicago style pizza and a thin crust pizza. The thin crust was great. Crispy crust, not skimpy toppings and extra cheesy. The Chicago style was just ok. The crust was bland and dry and the tomatoes look like they were added after the pizza was cooked. I think I will just stick to the thin crust next time. Side note for parents: there are gambling games inside near the bar. They are 21 and over only. Your kids will likely think they are video games and want to play them. You may want to bring something to distract them from the gaming machines.

The bartenders are engaging and entertaining. Food, haven’t ordered anything I haven’t liked yet! Soundtrack, if you’re 40 you’ll love it. Just stop by, get a stout drink and good eats!

It was a great experience! We had a terrible experience at the Irish Pub down the street and decided to try Riverside as a last resort before heading home and I am so glad we did. Everything came out hot, fresh, and tasted great. Our server was friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. We have a picky eater and she even made accommodations for the meal to be prepared in a way that could be enjoyed by all! Great price and super huge pizza! I ordereda pizza a day sampler basket online. I paid online and it said ready in 30 min. I arrived 40 min later and waited for the bartender to finish complaining to everyone at the bar how the guy last night didn’t wash the floors as she picked up the gross bar mat on the floor to show everyone it had not been completed. Then she went to the one table and took their order, came back and put it In the computer all while puffing on her vape and then finally acknowledged my presence. The food still wasn’t ready. I went outside to turn my car off and as I came back in i saw what I assume was a manager coming in because he grabbed two plastic cups out of the public garbage can on the street and brought them inside and put them in the bus tub with other dirty dishes. ( really? Cut your losses maybe..) I almost turned around but I was hungry. The girl from before, never having washed her hands, handed me my food…at least it’s wrapped and hopefully the kitchen staff is more cleanly but years in the business has proven opposite.
