Ordered take out. It was not a good experience. Portions were small. My mom’s order was not what she asked for. On the other hand, when we dine in service is great and the portions are much larger. The staff is very accommodating and cordial. Moral of the story- don’t get takeout.

Excellent Service & Delicious food!! I had to kill a couple of hours in the afternoon in Seaford while my son was at Tidal Care Hospital so I decided to check out the Golden Eagle Diner. So glad I did ! I was greeted and sat immediately and at Noon nonetheless. My drink was served within a minute of being seated. There were so many yummy items on the menu from which to choose. I went with the Eagle Burger at the top of their list of burgers. Wise choice. Cooked it Medium Rare to perfection. It came with mushrooms, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato. The chicken orzo soup came with it. Very tasty. The French Fries are golden and crispy. I told the server WANDA (who seems to know almost every customer in the restaurant) that the fries put McDonalds and Arbys to shame !!! You can see the attached pictures of my order. Food was so good that I even ordered 2 Sub Sandwiches to take out with me!! I would highly recommend this Diner to anyone in the area looking for a decent meal at at great price with excellent service !

I ordered a cheese steak told the greeter what I wanted on my sandwich only to get what I didn’t want. They put tomatoes on my sandwich and I’m allergic to tomatoes. When I called she said tomatoes automatically comes with the cheese steak. I never ordered a cheese steak that comes with tomatoes. It would have been nice if I was told since the website does not have the ingredients. My bread was soggy and there was no flavor at all. Not only that but I ordered a grilled salmon salad and the greeter asked me what’s that? Worst experience I will never go back. $35 down the drain.

I have been to the golden eagle many times I have always received good service good food nice portions and the atmosphere is nice I go there every chance I get and definitely try everything on the menu everything I had so far has not been disappointing I do recommend this place if you want to eat have good food and have a nice evening out the best place by far I have been to in Seaford Delaware I recommend it
