We have been to Johan’s numerous times and have taken visitors with us. Love the food (especially the pizza!) and the atmosphere. However, one waitress in particular seems to always have an attitude and every time we go we hope that we don’t get her. I understand having an off night but this has happened on several occasions. She is simply rude and it feels like unless you are a local she knows, you are going to get poor service and a grumpy attitude. I keep thinking she will leave and find another job not in customer service but no such luck. One other downside, the patio in back allows smoking. Just so you know.

It was awful! We ordered and waited a very long time for our food. When it did arrive two of ordered didn’t show up til some time went by. My burger was way over cooked and everyone’s French fries were cold. I asked for cold slaw instead of fries and got fries. When I asked the waitress for my coleslaw she never did bring it. We will never go back.

We came in without knowing anything about the place except looking at the reasonable food prices and selection online. The service was remarkable! The food fantastic! We had meaty, crispy onion rings, walleye sandwiches, and a chef salad(which is a risky choice in a small bar/restaraunt), all were fantastic. We are already planning our next trip back there.

Nice a step above a normal local bar. We didn’t eat but food looked good. Lots of craft beer on tap. Servers were super busy but very attentive. Wish it was closer we would visit more often.

What a great spot!! The back patio is on point! I love the penny’s in a bag attached to the ceiling! This is a great spot with some good beers on tap that you can get by the pitcher! I’ll be back when I’m in the area!

Friendly service in a clean environment. GOOD burgers and several pizza take-out orders while I was here. Pay the $1 extra for the Chive Fries (wedges) and get a delicious white dipping sauce with them ir their regular crinkle fries are also good.
