This business has been in Az. since 1968. The food has always been great, especially the beans my wife says. LOL. I have noticed over the years the portions/burritos have gotten a little smaller but overall still good food. The service time also has slowed. But come on better than Taco Bell! I really expected better food quality especially waiting 25 minutes for my food and watching others walk in, place their order and walk out with their food and obviously I was forgotten about. I only ordered a burrito and a tostada. And this is the quality of tostada I got. No apologies from employees, nothing! I mean how do you serve this mess to customers? Why not put the tostadas in a box? I’m very disappointed!

I seriously can’t believe our visit this time. I ordered online, so it would be ready when I got there. It was suppose to be ready at 6:40, and we didn’t walk out with our food till 7:05. The girl told my husband it wasn’t ready, then after several customers getting their food & the line cleared up, finally a guy walks up and asks my husband what were we waiting for, and turns around and grabs our food. It was ready the whole time.

This place is doing too much, waited for 30 minutes, got 2 cheese enchilada and taco plates to go, food was soggy and stuck together the way it was crammed in the to go box, just reminded me of why i quit going here, way overpriced, but it’s like anywhere you go anymore, all millennials running the place, food and service would of probably been better if they could of used their phones…. Taco bell is a better choice if you decided you wanted Mexican food..

This location has gone so far down hill. The staff all looked as if they were upset they had to work there. We had ordered 2 bean burritos, 3 potato bacon egg and cheese burritos and a carne asada burrito. All burritos had a tortilla that seemed to be half cooked. It was as if they decided not to warm them up before they used them. The bacon was cooked but to the point that they became hard and splintered in the burrito. Hard enough to poke your gums as you ate it. The egg was completely under cooked with no seasoning. The eggs also had milk added to it so they were very runny. It was all made in a hurry. I don’t know what the rush was because we were the only ones in there. The quality of the food must be driving people away because this place used to be really good. It’s too bad that either the owners don’t know whats going on here at this location or just don’t care. Either way if this is the quality of food being put out by this place continues, I feel it doesn’t had long before it closes.

The food was excellent! I used to stop and bring home food on my way home from work. After a half-hour drive later, my husband wasn’t a real fan of their food. Getting the food fresh has completely changed his mind. Today was like the Carolina’s I grew up with!

Unfortunately, the items we wanted to enjoy here weren’t served. I overheard a cook tell the girl, no, I’m not doing that. So it seems more like a challenging item that’s listed in the menus isn’t like by cooks. I have a kitchen and cooks that do the same, so I tried to be understanding, but when I wanted to let management know, they told me it happened and brushed it off. Sadly, we didn’t eat anything here due to the fact they reacted the way in the restaurant, and then later, when calling, I think it ruined it for us returning.

Updated: I went in to order, and normally, I get my same order pretty fast. Well, all the girls in the front did was laugh and talk amongst themselves. Over 6 people after my order received their order before me. They were loud for the cashier who would try to take phone orders. The girl in glasses was about the only NICE front cashier. I have always gone to this one because it’s the closet.
