This is hands down the best fried chicken I’ve had by a long shot in all of Texas.. I was told this place has chicken you can only dream of and figured I had to go see for myself and was not disappointed. I just finished what you see in the pic and still can’t believe how amazing it was. From the tenderness to the seasonings . This place will live internet heart for ever and you can bet your last dollar I’ll be back again in the future.

Best onion rings that I’ve had in a long time. In town for business and heard many good things about this spot. One of the few that I have visited that actually lived up to the talk. Originally came for the chicken and it was pretty good, but those onion rings were the real star of the show. Definitely worth a return trip

Memes has been a Del Rio favorite for decades. Very popular you must order ahead of time. We got a whole chicken fried. It comes with fries white slices of bread and jalapeños . We also ordered their huge onion rings and gizzards.. Hot fresh and just finger licken good.

The food was mediocre at best, but what really ruined my meal was the fact that they had the Limmy Show playing on the TV. I found it to be incredibly distracting and obnoxious, and it completely ruined the ambiance of the restaurant. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful and enjoyable dining experience. Stay far away from this terrible restaurant.“`

Anytime we r in Del Rio we will stop by. They are always busy so expect to wait a while. We waited 45 minutes but since we like the food it was worth the wait. Some people were upset but the ladies were very patient. Don’t be rude just expect a wait. If u like fried gizzards, greasy fries with white bread and delicious jalapenos be nice and wait! The cheeseburgers are so delicious too. So expect to wait and enjoy!

When I lived in Del Rio Texas. MeMe’s kitchen was my favorite place to eat! It’s hand battered freshly cooked chicken and its better than any place in Texas.

I would have given Meme’s 5 stars but, by golly, they have the GROSSEST french fries! Hamburgers? Great! Onion rings, yummy and flavorful! French fries? Please hire someone or even YouTube a video on what french fries are supposed to look and taste like! They were bland, floppy, and SO greasy!!!! Beyond human consumption.

Delicious burgers and fried chicken, just like homemade! Ask for jalapeños on your burger and they’ll give you plenty, just like we like it! We got there after lunch hour and it was going to be a 30-minute wait for the hand-battered chicken, but one of the workers could tell I was starving and she let me have her order that had just come out of the fryer. Amazing, and so gracious! They only start to grill and fry when they receive your order, so if you’re starving call in advance 🙂 We’ll definitely be back.
