Great diamond inside the ambassador hotel popped in for a light fare and WOW! Caesar salad with house made Caesar dressing was amazing! The shrimp cocktail were some of the biggest shrimp I have ever eaten and delicious! And the bar tender Claire was amazing heavy pours on the cocktails! Stop in relish the ambiance and enjoy the drinks!

Great dining option to go to before a concert at T-mobile. The shrimp and grits were full of flavors and it was a good size portion. Wine selection was pretty good as well. Friendly and efficient staff. Lovely place.

Staff was on point. The restaurant space is rather small and feels kind of crowded. The decoration is art deco, strong 1920s glitz theme. The food was solid standard fare for a four-star hotel. Nothing bad just nothing all that special. I got the steak and my dad got the fish. Our server was definitely worthy of note as were the cocktails/bar.

We went to this place for Christmas dinner as we got stuck in KC due to flight delays. This place seemed like an upscale scene that would be great for a dinner setting. We got there and the hotel (Ambassador) didn’t disappoint with its curb appeal and entrance. The reassurance was super nice inside and presentable. The scene definitely wasn’t upscale but rather a bit laid back. The menu was at best a glorified bar food menu. The prices were attached to the upscale part of the façade.

Located in the Ambassador hotel, you see a slew of different people, which adds to the electricity of eatery. I’ve been many times and the food is always good, service is hit or miss. On this last visit, it was definitely a miss. TRAIN YOUR SERVERS! I like Friday nights for live music and good drinks. If not for the consistently good food, I would not return. There are too many good places to eat in KC to pay for bad service, please fix it!

A calm, reserved, and classy atmosphere ! There were only four other diners there when I arrived this morning. Even the restroom was elegant in shimmering black framed with brown images! The smell was neutral; sans noxious human smells or cloying freshners fighting to cover up the acrid.

Atmosphere is great, just short of stuffy formal cigar bar style. Service was pretty good. Just had a martini at the bar.

The Reserve just re-opened after renovation. My expectations were not met. While other reviews are overwhelmingly positive, my experience was not. The ambiance is nice. Service was friendly. They disavowed any happy hour specials (despite what was published on their website). No happy hour food options were offered either. Cocktail prices are about 20-30% higher than they should be. Relatively unimaginative beer options. No tap beer options.

We had about 12 people no one complained about there brunch! Tom (the manager) was awesome! I can’t remember our waiters’ name but he was also me too! The best hospitality ever! Tom even told me about Lonnie’s, I’ll be trying that this Friday!

A hidden gem in a beautiful hotel. This is my second time here and can say the food and craft cocktails are great. Their diverse menu offer everyone something they can enjoy. I sat at the bar and Larry did a fantastic job of making me a classic old fashioned.
