Stopped through here for lunch. Pretty good shawarma and falafel. Service was a little slow, but they told me it would take 10-15 minutes when I placed the order. Not much seating either. Still, it’s a decent halal food spot if you happen to be in the Temple Terrace area.

Bought foods from this place while i was on a business trip. I got the gyro wrap, beef quesadillas shawarma, baklava, and cheese cake. The food was delivered fast and nicely packed. The food was delicious and amazing. The meat was fresh and good portions for the price. Great flavor and the sauce was amazing. The desserts was so good, and I liked the baklava very much. I’m glad they gave me a cheese cake that I requested instead of fries on both of my orders. Definitely a great place to visit and worth a try

Abu Omar Halal is a Halal restaurant located on 56th Street in Temple Terrace, FL. If you don’t know what Halal is, it’s basically food that Muslims are allowed to eat. The decor is somewhat bland, but I liked the open kitchen. The seating area is small, so it’s more geared for takeout. Everyone was very friendly and hygienic during our visit. I later found out that the woman at the cashier also took orders at the market next door.

I’m here visiting from Saudi Arabia, so I know Arabic food. We had their chicken shawarma and it was SUPERB. The thoum (garlic aoili) is on point. Very authentic. Highly recommended

Great shawerma place, the wrap is made from tortilla and the garlic sauce is good but the chicken can be a lil extra zesty to my liking.

Falafel isn’t normally my go-to but had a craving for it today and stopped in to to pick some up along with one of the Fried Kibbeh and was very pleasantly surprised with how delicious it was. The staff was very friendly and gave me a heads up that it was made fresh to order and would be a couple minutes. The food came out hot and fresh and I couldn’t help but finish it on my drive home. I would definitely recommend stopping in.

I have gotten a few items from here and they have all been great. The gyro arabi was delicious the two times I have had it, but this time I decided to switch it up with a chicken quesadilla. The white sauce that comes with it was a great compliment, and the pickled peppers in the veggie mix were a nice kick. The food has been delicious and the service has been great (shout out Yazan) every time I have gone. Highly recommend!
