Tried Neya this evening. Great dinner Atmosphere and vibe. Live DJ Music was a real plus. Food was tasty and well presented. Good Bar and well made drinks. Service was pleasant. The portions were too small for the price. We did not make reservations and were given a choice of the Bar or a high table. We took the high table, while most of the tables sat empty the entire time we were there.

So nice, we went back twice. Neya has some of the best Israeli food in Miami. And, the second time we went, we got to do tequila shots with Ben, the owner (yes kids, mom and dad do shots). We made the “mistake” of sitting at the bar for a drink before dinner. The bar is right across from the kitchen and all of the food looks AMAZING! I was just sorry we couldn’t order it all. We started with octopus hummus. I could have eaten this all day long. The octopus was cooked perfectly, with thick creamy hummus and soft freshly baked pillow-like pita. Next up was the chicken shish kebab. Again, the chicken was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of charcoaly taste. The yellowfin tuna tartar with black and white eggplant was great, although it could have been a bit bigger. The lamb flatbread was good, but not great. For dinner we had the paella, Israeli style. It was made with couscous instead of rice. What a concept! It was my favorite dish in the restaurant. The second time we went, we had the grilled branzino. It had a crispy skin on a bed of puréed artichoke and was amazing. We finished up with the lamb cutlets (chops). While well cooked, they were nothing special. The service was very helpful and attentive.

This was our first time eating here so we were not sure what to expect. We were seated in a nice booth near the front of the restaurant. The server, Alison, spent ample time explaining the items on the menu in detail. Her recommendations proved to be incredible; the unique flavors of the dishes we ordered were truly remarkable. If there is one thing this restaurant can improve on, it would be the beer selection. On the whole, definitely a five star experience.

A very nice restaurant with a good variety of small plates. Most of the dishes are very creative! The service is quite good as well. This is a large step up from the typical neighborhood restaurant.

We had a beautiful experience at Neya. It was clear that the staff cared deeply about everyone’s experience. They were proud of the space and the food/drinks they served. Our server, Andres, was exceptionally attentive, friendly and helpful. The chef and manager visited our table to ensure our experience was great. Our food was top notch and the cocktails were delicious. We are from Chicago and were very impressed with this amazing food and experience.

Service was espectacular! Everyone was very caring to ensure that our experience was fantastic! The food was amazing. My favorites were the Hamichi Ceviche and the truffle, wild mushroom flatbread. So flavorful. In addition, we had two cucumber mojito cocktails and these were refreshing and tasty as well. Overall, we had an excellent experience. The place ambience is one of the best parts with an open kitchen. Totally recommended!!!

Overrated. Most dishes are just ok. A few things were good. Small portions, high prices. Oxtail tortellini had a sharp bone in it that cut my gums and they offered me a free dessert which we had no interest in. They kept pushing the dessert, we said no thank you. He didn’t even comp the oxtail dish. Go to surf club four seasons and have an amazing meal and exceptional service for the same cost. Would definitely not come back here.
