Had a great time celebrating a birthday here! It was a nice departure from the usual habachi dinner. Mexican flavors served plancha style. The atmosphere is lively and fun.

Great restaurant with really good service. All of the options of our group (Burritos, Tacos and I had a sandwich) were all excellent. The Mexican rice was awesome!

The guacamole here is the best! It has large chunks of avocados and they give you a generous amount. The taquitos and tacos are delicious! Plus the atmosphere is super fun! I highly recommend!

Mexican with a modern twist. Authentic Mexican restaurants don’t charge for their chips & salsa (imo)

Descanso Restaurant is right next to Mokkohi Shabu Shabu and The Kebab Shop or The Shops at Mesa Verde. Tons of amply parking and additional spots to visit around the vicinity.

Great experience! Mexican hibachi, who knew?! Cooks were awesome, wait-staff was very attentive, atmosphere was also very nice! I got the salmon and itnwas beyond amazing, gonna be tough to find a place that makes it this melt-in-your-mouth good…

We went here for dinner first while we were visiting family when we got into town and then decided to go back for brunch. The food was all amazing and delicious. Posole and choriqueso are the best! They let you know what to expect, how spicy or the cook on items, and make sure you are okay with it. However everything was just spicy enough and cooked to perfection. The sauces are all especially flavorful. The atmosphere is fun. The drinks are refreshing and strong! Service is outstanding as well. Everyone is so friendly.

This is a “fancy” Mexican place but with that said, it was delicious. I have a family of four and we got the chips and salsa (yea, you have to pay for them unfortunately), the green chorizo queso fundido thing, Birria tacos plate, ceviche and a kids taco. The green chorizo thing was excellent. The salsa was spicy and smokey. I generally judge my Mexican spots by their salsa and this stuff was good. Everything was so good. Would highly recommend.

Good service as always. My wife enjoys the Rellenos tacos. I always have a hard time finding something that’s not greasy. Tried the Al Pastor today and was just that, greasy. Felt that they added too much peppers and onions which overpowers the taste of the AL Pastor, the star of the dish. Elotes were delicious as always. Bread pudding good, but a bit dry.

This is a really good Mexican restaurant that has hibachi style dining which is really unique. there is a nice bar area as well. The staff are friendly. The chips and salsa are really good. The elote and Mexican fried rice is absolutely delicious and my favorite. The agave glazed salmon is extremely good too.
