We went for sushi and Oishi did not disappoint! The hibachi smelled amazing but we were looking for something light tonight. It was a very nice, intimate setting. Our waitress was very accommodating in answering our questions. The rolls we ordered to share came out so quickly as well as our spring rolls and crab rangoons. I highly recommend it if you’re in the area or traveling through.

This place was so much fun! If you enjoy Hibachi style Japanese cuisine, I’d recommend this spot; fun for adults and adolescents alike…

Decent place to enjoy Sushi or Hibachi! Hibachi is more fun and have some very interesting chefs. Miso soup was subpar compared to other joints. Sushi and Sashimi samplers are great!

My daughter is a sushi fan and wanted to go here on her birthday. Everyone found something to their liking and (hit) food was hot and everything tasted fresh. Service was good also. One thing to note was every one of our meals came out at different times, a little odd, and my other daughter’s meal came out so late I thought they forgot it.

Had reservations for 12 people for a birthday celebration. Although the food there is decent, I’d forgotten why we hadn’t been back in awhile. The older lady hostess/ manager is consistently rude to certain ethnicities. Although there were empty hibachi stations in the main dining room, we were kindly escorted to the Hibachi station in the very back of the restaurant. We were amazed that for $65pp they’d actually have the audacity to sit guest in an area that doubled as a prep station / coatroom for workers. We definitely felt discriminated against. The only color that should matter in the restaurant business is the color green (money). And there are too many other restaurant choices in The Valley. This was not our first visit to Oishi’s, but I guarantee it will definitely be our last.
