Came here with my family. we actually thought it was great. We thought it was a little shady the way the windows were kind of covered up and all the construction and everything is going around it. But the food was fantastic. Everything was great, tasted yummy. only thing is the side of fried rice that we asked for was very Bland like it just tasted like white rice. I ordered the shrimp and scallop combo hibatchi, one of my kids ordered the chicken, one of them ordered the avocado roll, and the other one was the tiger roll. Everything was super tasty except for the rice. The atmosphere and music were nice, kind of bopping. Not what I would expect for an Asian restaurant, and they had baseball playing on the TV, but we will go back. Only other feedback I could give was the scallops were beautiful buttery but the shrimp that I had was a little overcooked just barely just by like a minute for advertisers we got the creamy jalapeno and the fried scallops!

Very clean and peaceful environment. The rolls I ordered were freshly prepared with very fresh ingredients. They literally melted in my mouth and didn’t have any excess rice. I truly enjoyed dinner.

Service was ok. Food was ok. Portion sizes are ridiculously small. For that alone we cannot return. After two special rolls, each $16 and $17 my wife and I were still hungry. Every other sushi place we’ve been to, 2 special rolls has been plenty of food, not here! $33 was just a snack. Too bad, was really hoping to like this place but have to add it to the do not return list because of their skimpy portions.

Delicious rolls, friendly service. Definitely will be back. I want to try the hibachi sometime. We tried miso soup, age tofu, Lakeville roll, spider roll and philly roll. Mmm

Sawa Japan is a very enjoyable oriental restaurant to experience for the entire family. The food is second to none at reasonable prices and I can’t say enough about the exceptional service that would other restaurants marvel. Congrats to all! Five stars across the board!! 🙂

The service was great, but the food… I wasnt impressed with the udon noodles. Super bland. Calamari appetizers were yummy, the mexican rolls were delicious, the fuji apple saki was great. I probably wouldn’t return because kyoto has better pricing and all you can eat sushi.

My First Time Experience at Sawa Japan Steak House at Lakeville Minnesota My family ordered Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura, Steak Fried Rice, Filet Mignon and Hibachi Lobster and The Drinks we ordered were excellent. we’ll Definitely come back again soon for Dinner. i highly recommended this Spectacular Japanese Steak House to anyone.

Seems this place keeps shrinking the portions. Bought 5 rolls and 1 steak and chicken hibachi for $92.58. Definitely being screwed on the price. Asked for extra soy sauce. Got a total of 4 tiny containers half filled. For $93 I should be getting a bottle. SMH
