It’s definitely a hidden gem. If you are lost, look inside Cartel Roasting Co. (Coffee shop). The pizza is amazing, the dough is so good! It’s a great choice when it comes to pizza and not wanting to feel like you are weighted down by bread. It’s light and flavorful. My favorite so far is the Spicy Jim!! It’s not determined by size, how ever two people can definitely share one pie! The house lemonade is awesome, it pairs great with the pizza! You can find them on Instagram! My coworkers and I ate here 3x’s in one week! This pizza is so yummy! A must try!!!

Great pizza & great employees! Everyone was friendly and happy to help. It also smelled really good in there! (I mean, what pizza place doesn’t smell good?) It was very easy to talk to the employees there, and I even got my food brought out to me instead of calling my name! I didn’t expect that. And the box is so cute! It screams local bougie pizza place, and the paper absorbs the grease so you can actually recycle the box!

We saw someone on IG talk about this pizza place. After looking at some pictures we decided to try it. Let me tell you… omg! This pizza was AMAZING! I love the Ezzo Pepperoni, they are my favorite. Anyway, the pizza was on point. Both my husband and I agree on everything… the crust, the sauce, the overall taste, perfection. We ordered the Jackie Luna pie. All others sound good as well but I wanted some spice so we went with this.

Penelope pizza is one of the best places for pies in Tucson! The sauce is flavorful and the crust is some of the best we have ever had! If you are lost looking for it, it is located inside Cartel Coffee in the back.

Did I go on an off night? I can’t figure out why this place gets rave reviews? The good part was the service and atmosphere. Very professional and friendly staff, great atmosphere as well and super clean. But I came for the supposed amazing pizza. The pizza had hardly any cheese and was very small. The slices were so flimsy that as soon as I picked it up, the entire slice sagged down and the toppings fell off. The slices were paper thin and flimsy. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good thin crust, but not paper thin and flimsy. The sauce and toppings were very good. But nothing special about the dough or cheese. I can’t figure out why this place gets the best reviews in town for pizza. Also good luck finding parking.

I’m from Italy, I moved to Tucson about 3 years ago and I’ve been searching so hard for a Pizza that didn’t let me feel bloated.

DELICIOUS PIZZA and super friendly staff! I’ve had at least three unique pizzas from Penelope and I’ve enjoyed them all. My husband likes the Pepperoni too. We’ll be back again!

Probably the worst pizza I ever had, I payed 20$ for a prosciutto pizza with fig jam and lemon: I was expecting a hint of sweet to complement the saltiness of the prosciutto. Instead I got the equivalent of bread and jam – the prosciutto was applied before the over so it was burnt, and you could not even taste it: all it came through was an intense mix of sweet and acidity of the lemon. Truly disgusting. My girlfriend got a typical pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza which look like they dumped the ingredients on top and called it good. Far from “gourmet”, and not worth the price. Total let down based on the reviews. Not recommended.

Great pizza! But for me the additional benefit is the dough quality that doesn’t upset my sensitive stomach and I ate the whole damn pizza by myself! Felt no ill tummy feelings like I usually get. A don’t miss pizza place.

Yes, it is the only pizza I will eat with my dairy intolerance because I can not be without it, in life, period. The memory of the awesome crafted taste sensations are one of a kind. And hey, what’s a delicious and scrumptious pizza without the company? I never leave without a good conversation and smiles while ordering. It’s how I feel when I leave, full belly and connection that keeps me coming back.
