First, let me start by saying that I don’t know why people are expecting Kabuto’s or Benihana’s level of food quality, when this place is clearly more like mall food court asian food. Given that, the food is actually really good, and the yum yum sauce tasted delicious. Furthermore, the portion sizes are OFF THE CHAIN. I ordered a chicken and shrimp bento box to try a little of everything. The spring rolls are really good, the fried rice is good, the meat was surprisingly tender and tasty. Yes, the shrimp were small, but I wasn’t expecting jumbo shrimp for like $14 in a whole dang meal. The chicken dumplings were good, too, but I preferred the spring rolls. The only thing I didn’t super care for was the California roll, I agree with other’s assessment that it appears they are using regular white rice without mixing in vinegar as you would in sushi. But again, this is not a sushi restaurant, and by no means an authentic Japanese restaurant. There was enough food that I was able to eat my fill, and my husband, who “wasn’t hungry,” was able to swipe almost half of everything, and there are still leftovers. I don’t know why I thought I would need extra fried rice . The sautéed cabbage is 10× better if you sprinkle just a little salt on it, and the vegetables were what I would expect from mixed vegetables at a Chinese restaurant. 10/10 great food and great value for what you’re paying. It scratched the itch for some Asian style food for tonight after an extremely long week, and I didn’t even have to get all dressed up or pay a lot of money at a fancy restaurant. Perfect pajama grub!

After reading the reviews, it looks like this place is hit-or-miss. We must have tried it out on a good day because I was very pleased. I ordered the steak & my husband ordered chicken, both with rice and vegetables. He got an order of spring rolls while I added an order of the chicken dumplings. The food came reasonably fast and the containers were stuffed. While the yum yum sauce was on the thin side, the flavor was good. I loved the dumplings while the husband said the spring rolls were only okay & he won’t be getting them again. The dining area is very small but was clean. All things considered, we’ll be going back.

This is my first time trying this place. I ordered chicken AND shrimp as my receipt says…… yet I have not a single shrimp in sight. Food is decent.

The portion size was amazing and food was prepared fast, but the hibachi and sushi were terrible. The spring roll and dumplings were good. This hibachi tastes like it was made by someone that has never had real hibachi. The sushi rice was mushy, and the vegetables were just oily cabbage.

Absolutely disgusting! Whole order was wrong. They gave me three tiny cups of yum yum sauce for three separate orders, when I ordered extra. When you call to make and order they don’t ask for a name or number to put with order so I should have known then that it wasn’t going to be satisfying. Never again don’t waste your time or money!

Food was sub-par and nothing super special to write home about. Both chicken and beef aren’t high quality and very chewy and stringy. Flavor profile was decent but what you’d expect at a mall. Won’t be returning as for hibachi this on the low end of the spectrum.

This place is like the McDonald’s of hibachi. Some days it’s good, others could be better (based off other reviews) . I went for the first time today. You definitely get your monies worth. Something about the sauce they used made the fried rice taste weird to me, Noodles were ok, steak had very little flavor.

The service was very good! I was in and out within 5 minutes!! For $6 the sushi (salmon avocado roll) was not that bad. It wasn’t the best, but it’s definitely not bad. Tastes like your average store brought sushi (which is actually $1-$5 more). Not bad but very little flavor (the soy sauce helped with flavor). Very eye-grabbing though.

This place definitely needs work. I realize they need help even in grand opening, so i may change my opinion later. The noodles had no taste, and yum yum sauce was trash, but the protien, portion, and teriyaki sauce were good. It was quick and they were organized in the orders and clearing the grill between customers. I don’t see coming here often, and wish it was better for the first hibachi spot on the east end, but hopefully this brings room for improvement. I don’t recommend yet, but like i said might change my mind later (give them a chance to redeem later on).

Yuck. Cold, watery, and bland as hell. Never again. Where to start… I guess the portion size is good, but the food is awful. Noodles are disgusting, sushi was warm. Veggies were watery/oily, and the sauce SUCKS. Why is everything slightly sweet?? I forced myself to eat half, cuz I’m hungry and it wasn’t cheap. Already feel sick to my stomach. What a waste of money. Absolutely TERRIBLE.
