The chicken kaarage curry was very tasty, and the sashimi meal was great with generous cuts of excellent quality fish. The staff was very friendly (only 3 tables late on Sunday) and will return when in the area. The prices were fair as well (curry about $15, meal about $26).

(Update after last visit) Downgraded it to 3 stars. We took Miso soup and it was not hot. The Inshou roll was decent but the Chicken Karagge Curry was not per expectation and seemed like it was prepared a long time ago.

The Garlic Steak over Hashbrown doesn’t sound like something you would get at a japanese restaurant. I didn’t think so either but I’ve been proven wrong before. It works surprisingly well together and the onions give a good balance.

Came here on a Saturday evening for dinner. Ordered 2 of the garlic steak, chazuke, kimchi pork, and 2 yaki onigiri. The food was delicious, and served fresh and with attention to detail. I like that they give nori (seaweed) with the yaki onigiri. Also, the potato under the garlic steak gives a nice balance to the dish. All of the dishes were well made and clearly had thought put into them. The ambiance was a little noisy, typical of busy Japanese restaurants. Overall, it was a very good meal.

I liked the food. It was tasty and fresh. The service was friendly and got my food to me quickly. I took the food togo but the interior was clean and features a little market. I got the teriyaki bento box so I don’t know how the sushi is.

Felt like your average Japanese restaurant. The “cocktail” my wife ordered was too sweet so I might skip the adult beverages here. We only had the specialty rolls here and it was very hit or miss. Maybe next time we’ll try the meat dishes.
