The ice cream prep area was filthy. Toppings spilled all over counter. Stainless steel countertops and doors were dirty and smeared. Floors were dirty and had not been swept. Even the high chair for kids had food left in the seat. Tables had not been wiped off and two people behind counter standing there waiting for food to fill one order. I was so surprised when we pulled up there were no other cars there at meal time..now I know why. Had I noticed all this before I placed my order I would have left the establishment.

Bizzards and cheese curds were good. This facility needs a massive cleaning, especially behind the counter. Employees weren’t friendly. I greeted the cashier twice, and he couldn’t bother to exchange pleasantries back. Employees in ripped/stained jeans, pajama pants, and unprofessional leggings.

Definitely don’t recommend wasting your time going here, staff impatient, worker coughing all over her hands and then proceeding to go make ice cream and food and serving it to customers in the drive through all without washing her hands or anything. It is an overall filthy place and seating area was not clean at all, as well as the ice cream and materials being messy and gross. do not recommend. this does not even deserve 1 single star. -0/10

Went through the drive thru today. Ordered a medium cherry slush and a medium vanilla shake. The shake was more like a glass of milk than a shake plus had some chucks of something init. Went into the store and get our money back and got nothing but complaints and excesses from workers. We are short handed, yea 3 employees for one car in the drive thru at the time of our order. Place inside was a mess and disgusting. With these employees and they poor cleanliness spirit lake iowas Dairy Queen will be the same as the Burger King a block away. Out of business.

I wish I would have gone through the drive thru so I didn’t have to see the lady cough on her hands before serving people. She was also filming a TikTok that nobody was gonna watch because the sound of her voice was ear piercing. The other employees were lifeless and rude. The place was disgusting. -0/10

Went into this location I will never go in again it was so filthy I couldn’t eat there and the staff I don’t even have words… Clear jars of old ice cream on the counter, the intake for the cooler in the middle of the prep area so thick with gunk that it can’t be cold. The floors had not been cleaned in who knows how long. The machines had old dirty cups that the staff were pushing out of the way to make orders. Disgusting and a Health Hazzard. Who owns this place?
