Had the Lemon Chicken Bowl and the Spicy Lamb Meatball Pita. Both were delicious. Great sized servings. Beautiful colors. Much better than I’d expect at an airport. The Spicy Lamb had a great spice heat level. It was however, very messy. They applied a little too much sauce. But in most cases, I’d rather have too much than too little sauce. Definitely worth repeating!

2.5 stars. Rude customer service and small portion sizes (particularly the base of rice and salad). I had been wanting to try this place for a very long time, but the employees just assumed I had been there before and didn’t offer any help.

Checks the healthy option for sure, but seemed to be skimpy on the ingredients. Had the lemon chicken bowl. The chicken was grilled perfect and all the flavors were good, just seemed like a few more greens and toppings could have been added.

Decent Mediterranean joint in terminal 2 of DCA. They have a great selection of food and drinks, but we only got lemonade (which was great). The staff are friendly.

Haven’t been here in a while, but the food is really good. It is kind of Mediterranean to a certain degree. If you are looking for a healthy option around, this is a great spot. Also, the portions are big, so if you are hungry, this should satisfy.

Hands down the worst Greek I’ve ever had. None of the employees speak English. Everything is I unbelievably greasy, the soda machine was empty and none of the employees knew how to fix it. When I asked what was good…all the employees said was “I no eat this”…overall just terrible for $22. I was too embarrassed to just walk away, I should have. Instead..half a gyro went in the trash ‍♂️

Really solid place for Mediterranean bowls. The ingredients were fresh, good quality, and tasty and the portion was decent (not huge but not small). For the quality and portion the price seemed more than fair given it’s in an airport. Would definitely eat this outside the airport.

I ate there yesterday at DCA airport and the day before in Huntsville Alabama. Had the Falafel bowl both times. In Huntsville everything’s was excellent. At DCA falafel was soft and doughy, not crispy, and portions were tiny. I had to repeatedly ask for more, which they gave me but I just felt like I was begging. $14.06

I first tried Cava in Houston so I’m not new to the cuisine but it’s my first time creating my own unique bowl. They have so many sauces, their saffron rice and lentils are stellar. The falafel is fresh and NOT dry (thank you cooks). The pita bread is soft and warm (yummmm) Love the “fast food” concept but nothing unhealthy about it. I recommend everyone try here at least once but I’ll warn you, once you try, you’ll fall in love. Thank me in advance.

Portions are tiny and items are way overpriced, even compared to other CAVAs. The menu says the falafel pita is 950 calories, it’s more like 450-500. Straight up lying on the menu, and it costs over $14. Insane
