The absolute worst Japanese food i have ever put in my mouth. Lettuce salad was brown around the edges. Hibachi scallops were completely tasteless and presented exactly as pictured in the photo. Hibachi steak and chicken were overcooked and tasteless as well. Fried rice was bland and udon was salty. We waited for 30 minutes (on top of the long wait time for the hibachi) for the sushi to arrive, then decided to leave. They tried to serve us the sushi at that point – apparently it had been sitting behind the counter this whole time. I had previously noticed other sushi orders sitting on the counter for a good 15-20 minutes before they were served.

Went to Nakamori Japanese Bistro with sushi cravings and was met with an unexpected delight: their happy hour specials! Unlike other spots that offer those barely-attainable 3-5 p.m. happy hours, Nakamori ensures its patrons can actually take advantage, even on weekends. If you roll in post-8 p.m., you’re in for what’s possibly the best sushi value in the Minneapolis vicinity.

Extremely friendly service. Good quality food. Nice presentation. Shrimp teriyaki is a bit overcooked but good sauce. Rice is a bit bland but well done. Tempura sweet potato roll is really good. Service is top notch.

Fast and friendly service. Received our food quick and very warm. The portion sizes are really good especially for the price. If you’re trying to look for a hibachi style cooked Japanese meal that is not in a huge venue, this would be your place. Would definitely come back again.

I used to really like coming here but they increased their prices and give you less now. I opened my sashimi entree which is 28 dollars and there was barely anything in there…there were almost more lemons than sashimi. I won’t be coming as often.

This sushi is some of the best you can get in a state where there’s no sea nearby. This is among the best sushi I’ve ever had in Minnesota. This place is incredible – the staff is extremely friendly, the place is clean and elegant in appearance, and you feel happy upon entering the doors. The happy hour specials are also fantastic, if you like sushi and don’t come to this place, I would encourage you to reconsider your life choices.
