We’ve gotten takeout in the past and have always been happy. We were looking for a place to go for Mother’s Day and decided to try the knox. It was AMAZING! My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly, and the lobster and shrimp linguini was top-notch. Highly recommend.

My friends and I enjoyed a nice meal here Sat night. Limited menu and hours due to an illness with one of the staff. Eventually we got the right server and ordered drinks and apps. Our Tito’s lemonade drink had to be redone, not the right lemonade. I got the chicken Piccata which was good, and my friends got the prime rib plus French onion soup. We all had a small salad too. The food and service was good. Nice ambiance too.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We waited quite some time to even be greeted by the waitress, which I will take into consideration that the restaurant was busy with live music. We waited way too long for our appetizers. We asked for our sons food to come out with appetizers. After over a 45 minute wait.. the kids chicken tenders and fries came out with nothing else. We noticed the fries seemed undercooked, cut into the chicken and it was raw in the middle. Absolutely not okay, told the waitress politely that it was not cooked, the kitchen staff dropped the already cut chicken back into the fryer and sent the same plate back out. ABSOLUTELY ABSURD! 0/10 recommend, watch your children’s food because they don’t know the difference. What a shame, that restaurant could kill someone with that incompetence.

The food was good. The service was very good and friendly. It looks like a historic place. There is a dining room and a tap room with a stage and dance floor. A fireplace is on the wall opposite the stage.

Have had several meals from here. It’s hit or miss when they are good they are good, but last 2-3 times was lousy. First time we went here order a burger and it had a long hair in it, let the waitress know she seemed annoyed but she ordered me another one, while i waited i ate the fries i ended up pulling another hair out of my mouth that was in the fries. When the burger came back it was extremely well done and a completely different burger, to top it off they never apologized for it and still charged me for the meal. Ordered bone in wings last time was given boneless. Wings have barely any sauce, tonight no blue cheese on side at all and again barely any sauce so no flavor. Pizza was mediocre at best, better off with a frozen pizza I feel.

I have been to this restaurant many times in the past and the food and service has always been okay. This Saturday night was different. We arrived about 5:45pm and were seated in the dining room right. A young lady brought over two glasses of water and told us she was not our waitress. This was the high point of the meal. About 10 minutes later our waiter came over to take our drink order. We flagged down the waiter to place our orders; Salmon and chicken piccata. No mention was made of there being specials. My wife was not given a choice of vegetables with her Salmon. No bread was brought out or offered. 30 minutes after placing our drink orders they were brought out. One hour after arriving our food was brought out. The salmon was burnt and server with a baked potato and a piece of corn on the cob, which my wife doesn’t eat. My chicken piccata had no taste and was not seasoned. After the meal we asked for the check, but couldn’t find the waiter to pay. We had to get another staff member to get him. In the past, the service and food were much better. I hope it will be better in the future.

Beer and champagne (split) were a little flat when we were initially served but the food and service were awesome. My wife with celiac disease had the GF pork chop and I enjoyed the burger with egg. Bacon wrapped scallops were excellent as well. We were seated immediately with our 2yo on a Sat evening. I would visit again if in the area.
