It sounds like cliche, but really if I could give them zero stars I would…I am a patron of bagel places for last 25 years and they’re some great, good and not so good ones… this one is a disaster..! It was our first visit and last visit same time. The staff was very unfriendly. We got there at 10:30am, the shelves were empty not much left to choose from, to their defense they said another batch is almost ready if we would wait a couple minutes, which we choose to do. Waiting for 15 minutes, we are looking around place, where to seat – it was dirty, there was a live cricket strolling around the tables – dirty tables, dirty coffee machines, rugs, used Band-Aid on the floor, garbage can with big opening right next to the table with flying flies around – one word disgusting.!!! For a full picture, when we walked in the store, it was completely empty, morning rush was over – the staff hade plenty of time to straighten up the place. (to my opinion and experience from other extremely busy places which they kept their facilities in order, clean and treated us always with a smile, didn’t matter how busy they were..!)

Very disappointed, they weren’t friendly at all when I came in. They made me feel like I bothered them. I went there around 1030am for a pork roll egg and cheese on a bagel. They were out of MOST bagel flavors. The ones they did have looked like they were day old and the sandwich was disappointing. I didn’t think you could ruin a EGG sandwich but they did. I Won’t be back. Also there was only 1 person sitting at the tables they provide but the other tables were dirty with food crumbs and spilled coffee. Definitely Won’t Be Back.

Poor customer service, it was obvious she didn’t want to be there, no one cared. The place was empty, I asked for lightly buttered, I had enough butter for a dozen bagels. Will not be back

My bagel was slathered in cream cheese (too too much) and the girl that helped me basically tossed it at me. Lol. I tried to say thank you and she mumbled and turned away…I ate like 1/3 of my bagel before I gave up.

Shady people and very dirty. Too bad because I thought the food was pretty good. The cook was friendly and from what I saw the kitchen area was clean, so I tried it out 3 times. Each time they were even more rude. Sorry to bother you, won’t happen again. I’ll bring my massive orders to Lakehurst. I’ve just been told the staff ARE the owners.
