I remembered coming to this place as a kid. Great place to stop for food and a good quick rest stop. However I wasn’t very happy about them not getting my food order right. I’d give them another chance but I don’t think it’s going to be for a while.

Great place. Be specific with what you want, or they may take liberties with their interpretations of what you consider your favorite flavors. Staff is the nicest you’ll ever meet. Prices are awesome. A Bergen county landmark. You have to try it at least once

Good breakfast and lunch menu, food is very good. Ordering process is awkward. You walk in, don’t really know where to go, menu is on the wall to the right behind the serving counter. Servers don’t seem to know who’s next, are not that user friendly and there is little room to wait for your food. I guess I don’t know the drill since I don’t go there much, but I feel like a newbie when I go there. It’s like going into a liquor store and purchasing a bottle of wine for the first time, worried that their going to ask for your identification.

I hate Elmer’s, always did, they have poor customer service and b/c they are the only vendor in town they take advantage of this and treat their customers very poorly. The school uses them for the kids lunches and when the lunches get canceled because of bad weather, they refuse to give refunds, credits, or a replacement lunch even after I received an e-mail from the school saying that they would do this.

Great to stop and get lunch to go. They have a deli counter with sandwiches and wraps. There is also a section where they have daily specials that I believe are Hispanic with empanadas and other stuff.
