This is a small hole in the wall place with very little parking but really good vegan-friendly choices. We ordered online and drove by to pick up. Front door is locked so you have to ring in. They do have a couple of picnic tables on the walk in front. Their vegan bagel and lox was amazing. They even have bamboo utensils.

I was in Cincinnati and needed a proper vegan breakfast.. AND FOUND IT! The chorizo breakfast burrito and potatoes were DELISH! I used Uber eats and the food was rest fast and HOT when I received it. Give this place a try!

Burger was so good my husband had eaten it all before I got my phone out. He has been vegan for years and said it is the best burger he has had in quite a while. Mac and cheese was great I added the breakfast scramble and a sausage to my meal so it doesn’t come the way I took a pic loved all the food they were really nice and everything was vegan so it made ordering a breeze

I love Essen! Their waffles & homemade jam make a perfect breakfast, and I highly recommend their breakfast catering for those early business meetings. I don’t mind going into the office for the meetings when I know Essen is the caterer! The pumpkin chili is a perfect lunch for these chilly days, but I have to say the bacon cheddar burger, with its fresh toppings, is the best! I can tell that Essen cares about the quality of their food, it shows in the taste!!

My first experience and will not be my last. Not only did the staff help us with our order guiding us through the menu but also with my friend and mine food allergies. We both got the Chick Pea Dips and the included some corn tortillas and an avocado so we could make street tacos. On the fly and on the spot we were delivered an amazing meal that left us feeling full but also great about the quality of food we ate as well. The Lead Server was SO nice she gave me a Gin-Gin candy to help settle my stomach

Absolutely delicious and very friendly staff! My favorite is their vegan lox bagel (have literally dreamed of it) and their waffles! But the biscuits and gravy are out of this world as well. The food is hearty and feels like you’re eating a homemade meal! And you can feel good about supporting them, as I learned today that they pay their employees exceptionally well and are 100% zero waste. Also minority and woman owned. Highly recommend this local OTR staple!

Ordered food through door dash on May 27th. Ordered creamy mac and cheese, grilled brat, and classic burger add provolone. Everything was ice cold when I received it. Brat and burger had a weird texture. Veggies on the brat was mushy. They didn’t even attempt to melt the cheese on the burger. Everything just seemed to be rushed. They don’t allow any changes or input on door dash for me to even let them know to cook well done

Omgee, Thank you, Thank You. The Thanksgiving special was absolutely delicious. The pot pie was perfectly made with a tender crust and all the traditional fillings. It was beautiful too! The stuffed acorn squash had all the tastes of Thanksgiving wrapped up in a yummy baked bundle. The fresh rolls better than any I’ve ever had. Essen makes it easy to eat plant based with their offerings that satisfy that home cooked craving.
