Loved it! Been in Texas 7 years and this is the first time I’ve had Louisiana food I’ve actually liked. 3pm-6pm cocktail was half off. I got a hurricane and got a nice buzz off it. The chef sent out the Mardi Gras shrimp for our table. Also loved it. I could in hale the Tabsaco sauce with a nice burn on my tongue. I had the Atchafayla catfish (?) with crawfish etouffee. Enjoyed it. Potato salad was to die for. They even season the veggies. The beginets taste like the French Quarter. The bread pudding has nice flavor, taste like they add caramel to it. My family enjoyed there food. The only one was my husband who didn’t find the pobody too special, but its a Poboy sooo to bad for him. We will definitely be back. It is higher prices but we got enough food for leftovers. Only downside is it smells like the Cigar lounge next door. They do try to dial the scent back with air freshners. We will be back though. Great job!

It started off with a Shrimp Po-Boy, I ordered one a while back through GrubHub because…well, why not I was in the mood for a Po-Boy? Now usually I don’t go for Po-Boys because I don’t like all the bread but this Po-Boy had tons of shrimp and like the perfect portion of everything else! This Po-Boy was soo good I brought my husband here for dinner tonight & let me say, for someone who is hard to please, he is pleased!

Had a wonderful dining experience at Mimi’s New Orleans! Walked in and was greeted by Jill who sat us down and gave us a great overview of the menu based and what we told her that we liked. Jill was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable of the business and food that was offered.

This is a great spot to come enjoy some real Louisiana cooking. You have to try the barbecue shrimp the sauce was amazing and they use large shrimp which was perfect. The oyster and shrimp platter was fried perfectly and the catfish was some of the best I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time.

I continuously have to update this review because everything I eat here is fantastic. Don’t think it’s just seafood or soul food or country food. If it’s on Mimi’s menu it will be cooked well and served hot. Chef Ralph cooked me a Ribeye the other night that was delicious. Seriously, the seafood platter, chicken platter, pork chop platter, ALL OF IT!!!! The fries are so fresh, hot and crispy. I wanna say they are hand cut but they are so perfect I find it hard to believe but they taste hand cut. Just like grandma used to make except these are good. Crispy, not greasy. The peach Ballini’s are really good too. The service is always top notch, courteous and professional, all of them. It is a little pricey but the quality and service are there. It’s worth it.

Food taste was on point and the service was very friendly. Prices were a little bit higher than expected, but seafood cost money to serve fresh, which everything was very fresh and perfectly cooked.
