The wife and I enjoyed a great lunch today at 303 Pub & Grub on Broadway in Port Lavaca. I had a BIG, yummy, bacon cheeseburger with fries and she had the delicious Club sandwich. We started with their fried pickles and enjoyed a couple or three Michelob Lime Infusions, fully dressed! Great service and sports bar atmosphere on a lazy Thursday afternoon on the coast. Didn’t even need to look for my “lost shaker of salt” ’cause it was on the table!

Absolutely would not recommend this place, my birthday dinner was a flop. We’d probably only return during cool weather for my husband to enjoy a beer in the outside seating area as the food was not great.

Exceptionally Good Cobb Salad! Deep bowl with layers of goodies (bacon & prosciutto) throughout the mixed greens topped with fresh avocado and sliced hard boiled egg. Delicious! The fried pickles were okay – batter a little too thick and blah. Husband had a burger & fries which he said was good. Wines from a local winery, the Rusty Hook was a treat! Mermaid Kiss Merlot very tasty. Disappointed there were no Texas or craft beers on the menu but their cocktail selection looked tempting. WONDERFUL server! Very attentive, friendly, bubbly personality.

We were just passing thru, stopped for lunch. My sister and I shared the nachos. They were just ok. My husband had the chicken fried burger. I do not recommend it. The burger was flavorless. My mom had a regular burger, nothing to write home about. For those who want alcohol, they only have a beer and wine license. It is more themed as a bar.

I’m giving this a 5 star because it deserves every single one of them. My wife and daughter went here on our vacation and the food was above what I expected. Sidewinder fries are a must. But I wanna give our server Rebecca 10 stars!!!! She was amazing! Also very attentive and responsive with my daughter. Even when she brought my daughters “take away” box lol. I will request her everytime I go. Our experperience was already amazing but Rebecca made it one that my family and I will never forget.

This was our first time to Port Lavaca, the food was great portion size kept in full till the next morning. Wait staff was very nice. Parking was hard to find but we figured it out.

Relaxing atmosphere,Daniel was our server courteous, polite, he had a sense of urgency and checked on us multiple times thru out our meal. Food was very tasty, we really enjoyed our experience. Blooming onion was bomb! We will be back!
