Server was nice enough. Food was subpar. Some was cold or over/undercook. Restaurant needs a good scrub down. Employee were actively cleaning food stations BUT I had to wipe down my own table and high chair for my toddler. Employees need to wear hair nets. We found two random hairs one in a drink and one on a plate of food. Very disappointed. Won’t be back when we visit again.

I’m leaving a 5 only because the waitress we had we absolutely amazing she tried her best with a ton of pressure on her with having a whole room to herself and pregnant at that and so many people were rude to her. I went to dinner with my 5 kids 1 baby and another adult. Seeing how she was treated by customer was unacceptable and not getting help she should have had was way to overwhelming for a pregnant women. I will definitely go back for her and her service no matter what kinda day she is having. She deserves so much credit for staying professional and sticking it out. If she doesn’t get notices for her hard work, professionalism, and kindness on top of so many other things I will never go back there.

I’ve grown to really miss buffets in Toledo, so my wife and I went to Golden Corral just as a change of pace. It’s impressive how bad the food is. Service was great, everyone was nice, but the food is questionable. About the best food in there is the fried chicken. The fried shrimp is bland, but okay. The mashed potatoes were boring even with the gravy and the corn was waxy. I can’t remember the last time I had corn so waxy; middle school? Judging by the other reviews, this place is hit or miss and it seems we got it on a bad night.

I arrived at 8:45pm and was made too feel uncomfortable before I got to my table. Every one of the buffet sections were unkempt, the food was dried up and unappealing. I was asked twice while I was getting my food, are you done with this section,I promptly said no. While I was half done eating my first plate of food, the manager asked if I was done with a section. I got up and left, treating your customers like they are a nuisance is bad business.

There was the tip of someone’s latex glove in my meatloaf. When i brought it up, they never even apologized, just looked at it, said they’d be back, came back 5 minutes later just to take the plate and leave. Also they left that same meatloaf out and i was the first one to grab out of it. Doubt they even mentioned it to any management there. Also, the chefs for the steaks basically hide away from the table, and when you ask, they make it seem like a huge inconvenience. Also ask for a medium steak. They cut open a rare steak and asked if that was good. I shouldn’t have to tell a “chef” that a rare steak isn’t medium. At least cook it a little then ask even if it is medium rare.
