After seeing posts and pictures from this restaurant popping up on my Facebook feed for over a year, my husband and I made a three hour round trip to here from Memphis to celebrate his birthday. We both love seafood and buffets and had to see for ourselves what all the hype is about. We had a bite of almost every item on the buffet. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly, hot & delicious! The service was excellent. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. The drive there was worth every single mile! If you’re wondering if you should check this place out, trust me and just go! We will definitely be back again!

This was worth the 100 mile drive..I mainly went for the shrimp and other seafood and I was not disappointed. Shrimp and grits and mac and cheese were also delicious. Had a couple of bites of the banana pudding and it was on point. Definitely go with an appetite I will be trying more items next time.. I will say I didn’t know what to expect because it seems from the outside to be such a small place nothing real fancy. But once you get your food all of those technicalities don’t mean anything.

Amazing food and very friendly staff. Very good, clean atmosphere with good music playing low in the background. Wonderful place to eat, I can’t say enough good things about this place. Will definitely be returning!!!

My family drove for 45 minutes and visited Butler’s Friday, July 21st for our son in law’s birthday. I have to say, I was really disappointed. The food was not that good. Frog legs and whole catfish were okay but they desperately needed some salt. There is a huge lack of side dishes and they need to label what the food on the buffet. I couldn’t identify alot of it. For the price we paid, it was not worth the drive. Our waitress was excellent. She did a phenomenal job and she’s the reason for my 5 star service. If you’re looking for high priced mediocre food, then go. If you want great quality food, don’t waste your time.

Overall I was extremely disappointed with my experience. Called ahead due to the number of people in my party and the long distance we would be driving, but they don’t take reservations. After arriving as it opened the wait was still an hour long standing outside. There was a sewer smell outside. Once inside, they placed us at a table too small to accommodate our large group of adults. The A.C. was not keeping the restaurant cool enough. So in addition to us being cramped together on a small table with piles of plates squished together we were sweating. They were keeping the buffet fully stocked, but the food itself needed seasoning. None of the shrimp had any flavor whatsoever just straight boiled and chewy. The buffet had a lot of stuff on it but nothing worth making a second trip through the line for. We eventually got our crab legs we ordered after reminding the server. The crab legs were good and I liked the steak but other than that nothing else was worth our trip to New Albany.

Hopefully I can save someone a trip. Drove an hour and a half to get here, wait was supposed to be an hour and a half but ended up taking 2 hours. Parking lot was dark and full of flooded potholes and nowhere to park. Was hoping with all the people everything would be hot and fresh. After we finally got in and got our plates there were only a few crawfish left and they didn’t serve any more, which was the whole reason we came here. Most of the fried foods were cold and stale, the catfish was rubbery and fishy. The Cajun shrimp had good flavor but was cold and rubbery and hard to peel. The best thing was the shrimp and grits and the banana pudding. Definitely not worth 30$ plus admin fee and extra charge for using a card. Definitely won’t be coming back.

The food and service were both superb! The crab legs were killer, and the grits were “slap yo mama” good.

After seeing this place advertised for over a year we finally got a chance to go. After out two and a half hour drive, we arrived about an hour before opening. Customers started lining up outside the door 30 minutes before opening so we got in line and stood in the 90 degree sun for 30 minutes, by that time I’d estimate that at least 50 to 75 people were lined up outside. Our food was ok, nothing was bad, but nothing was great either. My favorite on the buffet was the stuffed crab, the Cajun shrimp was pretty good. Other than that everything was average. My girlfriend had the Crab Legs and while they were ok it’s nothing we will make another drive there to get. The waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks filled up. I’d say 3.5/5 rating from me.
