This might be one of the best Chinese Take-Out places I’ve been to ever! The lady that took my call order was sweet and nice and told me that my food would be ready in 10-15 minutes, which was a believable and fair time. I decided to drive to Chef King 10 minutes later and the food was already under the counter! The lady at behind the counter asked me for my phone number and confirmed with me if my order was all correct (it made me happy because they care that you get the right order and double checks). Their portions of the food were very big and was enough to make me full and it was very tasty as well. The chefs in the back that were cooking looked very determined and hard working and I must say that the cashier knows how to treat their customers right. I went back to my car after I got my food and I saw the lady take out an order that a elderly ordered and brought it to their car which was very nice of her. The parking lot was also very large and had plenty of spaces to park in and wasn’t very crowded which was great. I’m coming again Chef King! Keep up with making these tasty foods and great service! *NOTE: some people may have different taste buds but for me this kind of taste is very delicious in my opinion but seeing some other peoples reviews I think they also think it’s delicious.

This was my go to spot since I was a child, I’ve always loved the food. New owners took over and the quality of the food was a serious downgrade, lacked flavor and seasoning, the egg rolls hardly had any filling in them, they were about half the size they used to be, everything just tasted very bland. The new phone systems kept disconnecting so I couldn’t actually order until I got there in person. The woman behind the counter was very nice but that’s about it. Unfortunately it looks like it’s time for me to find a new place to go to.

I’d say this is one of my favorite chinese take out places ever. Service is fast, the lady behind the counter is friendly too and looks very hard working. Their food is usually delicious and if your order is big, the lady usually makes sure and double checks that it’s the right order and everything is correct! 10/10 would go again. Love it here!

08/06/23: Ok, so this place was a bit of a surprise for us. We saw the decent reviews and decided to take a chance and order food from Chef King recently because we didn’t feel like driving out to our favorite Chinese Restaurant in Webster. Ordering two meals over the phone was fast and easy. A pleasant women took my order and told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. Ten minutes?? Yeah, right. Well, when I got there 10 minutes later, they were just finishing packing up my order and brought it right out to me. *NOTE: There is no dine-in option here, take-out/pick-up only. Plenty of free parking is available. I have to say, the food was surprisingly good, and the portions were very large. Large enough for us to get two ample meals from each of our orders. Our orders of Moo goo gai pan and Sweet & sour pork totaled just over $24 with tax, so it was reasonably priced also. For us, it’s a plus having a restaurant on the west side of the city for really good Chinese food, and we’d definitely order from Chef King again.

We’ve been dining here for years and I can tell you we won’t be repeat patrons again. Ownership has changed hands and although they are said to be close friends the quality of food is not the same at all! The fried foods taste as if the oil hasn’t been changed in a while and the containers for things like sesame chicken are no longer filled to capacity! I also had to pull feathers off of numerous pieces of chicken that I had ordered! Who wants to eat after having to remove wast after it’s cooked! Before if you spent a lot of money here you’d get a drink or two comp…but nope they don’t even give plates, forks or napkins so no drinks. I gave them more than one chance to see if it was an off day but no it just is no longer what it used to be!

This was my only go-to Chinese food. Ever since the ownership change, the food quality is different (bad). It’s like they don’t care about the customer right in front of them. The cell phone or them socializing with each other is much more important than the customer. I’ve been a customer here for about 16 years. I’m done eating here. It became like any other Chinese restaurant in Rochester.

We order from here often. Food is always accurate and fresh. It’s a family owned business. The adult owners are friendly. The older teenager answering the phone (probably the owners kid) has such an attitude that I hesitate to call. It’s obvious she doesn’t want to be there. If you can get past this miserable girl everything else is great.

Amazingly fast. Great crab Rangoons, real crab meat, great amount for the price, ready in 3 mins after I walked in the door without calling ahead. The sweet and sour sauce was delicious too, and the cashier was friendly and professional. Clean kitchen. So good!
