We had a fabulous dinner at Shearwater! The service was fantastic, especially for a party of six. All of the food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the appetizers and the drinks were all tasty. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Nice views of the ocean, food wasn’t worth it, service was good. Won’t be coming back anytime soon. Perhaps in the future they get better ingredients or perhaps prepare them better, or revamp the menu.

I honestly really used to like this place, it has a great view of the ocean and the food was good from what I remember. that’s all unfortunately changed, today I went in for the first time in a while and I can only describe the experience as appalling. my friend and I sat down and I was immediately suprised by how small/limited the menu had become since my previous visit. our waitress came by to bring us water and asked if we wanted any drinks before completely vanishing, after about 20 minutes of waiting every other table in the restaurant had been served and was getting their apps, we still only had water. at this point my friend decided he didn’t want anything because the menu was so limited/expensive and I was so appalled with the service that we decided to just leave. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE there are so many better local restaurants that you’ll actually enjoy with much more expansive menus and better pricing

Not good. Food was sub-Applebees quality. The server was excellent, but had to continually apologize for the Chief. The potatoes were underdone. The steak was overdone, I ordered it extra rare and it was well done and chewy. I am doubtful of the quality of the cut even before the inept chief touched it. The asparagus was undercooked. And the weird Apple/cauliflower side dish was dry and questionable. I would have been happier with a food truck meal. The view, atmosphere, and wait staff was excellent. The management however really needs to take accountability for the food quality and preparation. I would choose a different restaurant if you are visiting this location.

So relaxing, clean and friendly. The views of the ocean and sun setting were stunning ! There was a gentleman playing the piano with all kinds of tunes that everyone would recognize. This is a five star experience.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Stage Neck Inn. The hostess greeted us with a smile and sat us at a window table looking out at the York Harbor. Sat there for about 30 min after getting waters and then didn’t receive service for about another 30 min, was very upset after seeing us be one of 2 other tables in the restaurant. We watched as all other tables received their entire meals as we were still with only waters
