Never again. I was extremely craving Curry Shrimp, found it, and was highly disappointed. I paid $15 for overcooked shrimp. The shrimp were mushy. They had the almost same texture as the carrots. I do not recommend anyone to order this dish. The customer service was good, the young lady that took my order was helpful.

I ordered a large curry goat with white rice. It was good. The only issue I had was that it came up $23.00, and the portion size didn’t reflect what I paid for. They give you a bunch of rice but very little meat. If that was the case, I would have gotten a medium. Cause you basically get the same amount of meat as you do with the large.

One of the only West Indian places open on Sunday, so I give them a star for that. Been here before and the food was good, so I give a star for that. However, the rudeness is too much! The woman serving the food seemed severely angry, while getting Everyone’s order wrong. She was argumentative with people when they tried to correct her and get the right food. Won’t be back for a long time. Not to mention I called and asked if they had snapper. I heard the woman who answered the phone check with someone and then come back and tell me that they did have fish. So I came here instead of going down the street. Arrive at the restaurant 10 minutes later and the woman tells me they don’t have fish. They also had no fried dumplings, no patties, no Diet Coke, etc. @ 1:30 in the afternoon.

Open Sunday evening when so many places were closed which is good. The Curry Chicken was on the salty side and prepared cheaply. Definitely not a repeat with so many other options that is available. For the record, it wasn’t my first choice to go to and also my first time since they moved from Homestead Ave. That location back in the day Rocked!

Jahm Ske’s has the best Jamaican food in Greater Hartford hands down! Soup is always on point whether goat or fish. The curry chicken or fried chicken is my go to. Their jerk chicken actually taste like jerk chicken and not burnt chicken with sauce, like most of the places I have experienced! Right now I am going to tear up this Curried Chicken Back! Yummy

We found this gem on our way through CT. I applaud them for being open at 6am with food ready. They had great selection and it was being added to continuously from the kitchen. We were amazed how busy they were until we left. I didn’t know you could run out of chicken back by 7am. Most places aren’t even open by then. An example of their dedication and how the community supports this place. I also loved how their front of the house person was so friendly and inviting to all the patrons. He really tried to accommodate everyone the best he could. We’ll definitely be back!
