I had very high expectations for the food from this restaurant. This is my second time coming here. Today I ordered turkey wings, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. I did not receive the cornbread and they gave me beans instead. Beans that had a meat in it. I don’t eat beef or pork so I had to completely separate the beans off the plate and anything the bean juice got on. The turkey wing was very good but the macaroni noodles were mush. On the other hand my husband ordered two chicken quesadillas and his food turned out how he wanted.

First time trying this restaurant. I got the Fried Chicken Wing Plate with Yams, Mac & Cheese, and Collard Greens. The Mac & Cheese, elbow noodles were over cooked and bland. The Collards were okay. The YAMS were not good at all, very runny. I was disappointed because I actually waited over 30 minutes for my food. Just being honest here.

$42 for 2 people, meatloaf platter with 2 sides, cornbread and water. The only flavor on the meatloaf was the ketchup. Sides were standard and cornbread was dry and crumble. Also waited for 32 minutes to get the food. Not a place I would go again…

The first time I came here it was pretty good. Our order took two hours even though we ordered only two plates, but it was pretty good just came back today and my fried tomatoes were so soggy they just fell apart. They got my fish order wrong so I had to wait an extra hour for them to fix it because no refunds, no sauce for my salad or green tomatoes and my children’s food was even soggier and disgusting Looking mind you my kids were waiting for at least an hour and a half for this food very disappointed to say the least.

The food is amazing! Everything was seasoned to perfection. The Mac and cheese tastes like someone has their Grandma in the kitchen cooking Thanksgiving dinner. It is so hard to find that quality of food that fast and reasonably priced. We will definitely be dining here more often.

We ordered the Stew Beef with yams and string beans and my sides were Mac and cheese and Lima beans. The Stew Beef and yams was bland no flavor at all, the Mac and cheese and lima beans were greasy, swimming in butter, bland and no flavor at all and the cornbread had no flavor and was dry. I’ll always patronize our people but I will not returning.

Customer service and food was great!!! Everything was flavorful & seasoned to perfection…… only reason why I did’nt give it a 5 star…. Is because I felt quantity wise it was with the sides was not as much as other places. But that’s definitely something “small” and I will be returning….
