You never know there was a great breakfast in this area. Nothing around in this parking area but this little gem. Definition of a wholesome breakfast diner. The staff is friendly, portions are generous and food that just hits the spot. Rather on the small side and the wait can be long on weekends so get in early. If you’re in a hurry please skip, this is a place to relax and enjoy the company of others over breakfast. Looks like an old school small kitchen as well so patience is needed. When the pancakes come out bigger than your face you know it’s going to be good.

Relaxed, casual old fashioned breakfast place. Today we got Joe’s scramble with hash browns and sausage plate with a side pancake. Flavorful, large servings and fresh ingredients; my mushrooms and tomatoes were really good. Nice people, lots of coffee refills. Definitely a place we try to make it too if we’re in this part of town.

Mel Dogs is one of our Favorite local restaurants to eat at. It’s a warm, comfy, country style diner that serves breakfasts and lunches. Open Mon-Sat and closes earlier in the day. There is a good size parking lot in front of the restaurant that is shared by a few businesses. The food is yummy, lots of American Diner classics. I especially like their french toast. There is some veggie options, it is a medium size place and all service is to tables-no booths. There are times it can get busy, they have a small waiting area and clients are responsible to put their names and number of their party on a list. The service is friendly and very good. They have placards on the ceiling advertising some of our local business’s. I believe you’ll make Mel Dogs a regular stop!

It was my first time there. Junior from Westcoast audio had told me it was a good place to eat breakfast as I waited for them to finish my car. He didn’t not lie not one bit. Fast service and great food for sure!!!

Another great little find that we stumbled upon while on a roadtrip. From the outside you would never know it was a diner. But once you walk in, you are thrown back and feel like you landed in a mountainside diner. The food was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely keep this one on our list.
