Went during their slow time, pork over rice was delicious and so as the pork bun. Clean and nice dine in environment. However the owner had an alright customer service, hopefully that will improve. If you just go for the food, this is definitely your choice:)

This place is so delicious and amazing. Their menu is brand new so the ones pictured are not the new ones. Went there for lunch and the woman working there was so kind to us. She described our dishes and gave us tips on what to pair everything with. We ordered the pork boa buns, chicken wings, sausage, pork balls and fried tofu. It all blew us away. The chicken literally fell off of the bone onto the plate when I look my first bite (clean bones picture included for reference). The fried tofu was seasoned perfectly and the sausage tasted so good. The chairs are also so comfy and it’s such a cute place inside.

Wow! Extremely proud of myself for discovering this gem. If you looking for fun relax place to snack, drink, and chill with your friends – this is it!!! So amazed with the decorations, atmosphere, and service. Felt like I was in a Taiwan for real. The drinks were exceptional. Try the pink lady drink and the Taiwan fruit beer.

The beef plate was amazingly fresh and rich . The combination is served like a rice bowl with minced pork over the rice and then a delicious plate of tripe, tendon, and shank is served after a good miso soup. This woman owned business is a little whole in the wall of heaven.

Be aware of the online menu is different from the menu in store. I went to the restaurant and it was full. I decided to do take out. There is a QR code just under the menu said you can order online. Since no waiter came for placing order, we ended up did the online order. It asked $1 convenience fee but it wasn’t a problem. The menu in the store said the combo comes with 2 free drinks but when I picked up my order, the women said “The combo doesn’t come with drinks. The menu are different between online and in store. “ with rude attitude. That’s the problem! Why you have 2 different menus?! I already paid the convenience fee!! I will never go to this restaurant again!

Nice atmosphere, feels very Asian and the food all seems imported. Many of the dishes feel like items I could find at an Asian grocery as opposed to house made with a couple exceptions… Their house made noodles were very good and I recommend starting there!

I like discovering neighborhood restaurants with charming character and unique food! All the dishes we shared were tasty. My favorite dish was the Taiwanese Sausage Bao! I liked trying a different cuisine with new brands of beer.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but you will not regret going in. Great service & food (tapas style). Nice atmosphere. Seats surprisingly comfortable. Delighted with the drinks, both the names and the flavors. Will be back!

We are so glad (and frankly, surprised!) that a place like this exists in Portland! 渣男 is a Taiwanese pub that serves authentic dishes other “Taiwanese” restaurants around town don’t offer, but you can get in Taipei. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to go beyond the usual popcorn chicken because there is so much more to Taiwanese cuisine. I think we’ve ordered every item on the menu, and nothing has disappointed. Drinks are fun too! If you are a homesick Taiwanese, this place is a must! I can’t get enough!
