(WARNING!) RACIAL PROFILING AGAINST WHITE FAMILIES! My family has enjoyed Cheddars for their food and prices since they came to Huntsville. Unfortunately, it seems the management changed and has lost all interest in actually managing their employees to make a better experience for their customers. He showed exactly how he wants his employees to treat white people. This was the worst experience that we have ever had at any restaurant, EVER. I have traveled the world and eaten at multiple restaurants, so I do not say that lightly. Our experience began with a very polite young lady that was attempting to be helpful. She went to speak with the servers to make sure they were ok to take additional tables, which we understood due to all businesses having low staffing. However, her coworker came and started what would become the most horrible experience we’ve had. To begin, while the other girl was checking, she came and told us it’d be at least 15 minutes for a table. When the other girl came back and stated the table was ready, the coworker became upset that she had to seat us. When we thanked her for her help seating us, she said “whatever” and walked off. This was the first indication we should leave, but we didn’t want 1 person to ruin our evening. Unluckily for us, it only continued to get worse. The rude worker that seated us then stood by our table talking with another coworker loudly, while on her phone as customers walked in. (I have photos) As we sat, we noticed that tables with white people (There were 3 that we could see directly) were not being acknowledged, while all the black families (There were 4 that we could see) were attended to right away. This was including our table, of course. The entire time we were there we watched how they treated black families, compared to white families due to this. The manager went to every black family table to ensure their experience was going well but did not check on even 1 white family. Every table with white families had to wait for an average of 20 minutes longer for any service than black family tables. We timed it! We have photos and videos to prove this. Not only that but the manager and staff stood around having very loud conversations that had absolutely nothing to do with business. We know because we could hear everything they were saying as did the rest of the restaurant customers. We waited for an hour for our food, only to receive it cold. When we asked for the manager that had been standing close to the fish tank not doing anything, he walked off and never came to us. We finally paid our bill and left. I will never come back to this restaurant as long as those staff members are still there. I will include photos of the manager and problem staff that made our experience so horrible.

Cheddars is a great place to eat at! The prices are reasonable from $11.50-20 a plate depending on what you get. The drink I got was the cheddar painkiller drink. It cost me $9. I liked it, but it was really strong. They only allow only 2 per customer. I can see why. They are super strong. I didn’t expect it to be that strong. If you’re looking to go out and get a little tipsy before you do, that is the perfect drink. For a lunch, not so much. I couldn’t finish it. It tasted a bit like eggnog. The Caesar salad was good, the bread even better. I don’t eat much bread, when I get to spurge, that honey butter croissant is perfection. I ordered the buffalo chicken wraps. Pickles on the side. They were so delicious! I had broccoli casserole as my side. My friend got the tenders platter with corn and a side salad. The price came out to $35, I paid for the $9 for the drink on a separate check. I totally recommend them! The service is excellent!

First-time visit to this location. Service was incredibly slow. It took twenty minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence. Then I was told to place my take out order at the bar. I ordered a Smokehouse Burger (well done). In addition, I requested not to cook/caramelize my onions. For my salad I requested no tomatoes. My onions were caramelized and tomatoes were in my House Salad. Took roughly 45 minutes to receive just a burger and a salad. On the other hand, the prices were reasonable. I just wish my order was made as specified.

Nice atmosphere, good service but the food isn’t worth the price. My daughter ordered a Caesar salad with her meal and the lettuce was frozen. The server replaced it with a fresh one 15 minutes later. My favorite part was the dessert!

I love me some Cheddar’s. I love the food especially the Bourban Glazed Salmon. The salads are always fresh and the homemade ranch dressing just makes my taste buds dance. I love the atmosphere because it makes me feel right at home. The waiters are very attentive and kind. You have to try the Huntsville location for yourself. Oh and don’t forget to grab a Sweet Honey Butter Croissant! It’s delicious

Visited Cheddars because of nearby restaurant close to my apartment. Was greeted by Luke and Brittany who was training and Luke did a great job explaining the menu and a couple of favorites. My girlfriend and I ordered the chicken tenders and shrimp and the grilled salmon with bourbon glaze. Food was amazing until she spotted plastic inside of her buttered corn. Overall this is unacceptable and management didn’t address the issue.

First time at Cheddars, not a good impression. I ordered a vegetable dinner carrots, green beans, corn of the cob, and red bean n rice. The food was good, maybe above average. Small portions but tasty. My wife had a similar order. A salad came with my dinner I got it after I got my food. I looked the server in the eye and asked for some bread of some sort, it almost showed up after I finished my plate , but I watched the server turn around with bread in hand and go the other way. I’m one who believes good service goes hand in hand with a good meal. The service was bad the food was average. I would not recommend this place, unless you don’t mind bad service
