Got the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken fried steak probably normally taste fine but mine was black on the bottom. Mashed potatoes, definitely box, and had been sitting around for quite some time. The service, however, was excellent, staff very friendly and the ice cream is really good. So if you’re going for ice cream, I definitely recommend it but if you’re going for dinner. Definitely not the chicken fried steak.

Quaint place on the south of the tracks, nice service and atmosphere. Wasn’t impressed with the basket of nachos I ordered. The chips were broken, small pieces and the melted cheese and what small amount of hamburger was at the top and was barely enough for the full basket of chips, I literally had to use a fork when normally your fingers are good enough for such dish. The prices are a bit too high for the food served! Definitely opportunities can be made!

Three of our party had the country fried steak with the mashed potatoes and white gravy The steaks was tender and big!! They said the gravy was good also. I had the taco salad and it was delish as well. Good portions and the service was good.

Stopped at this place on the way to the Bruneau Sand Dunes on our trip to the ocean and it was good. Although our wait was long, due to being busy, the food was good and the young lady waitressing and operating the register was genuinely nice, apologized for the wait, and gave a free scoop of ice cream dessert to our 14 year old at the register. In our modern era of poor customer service, it’s nice to encounter kind and good service.

We had one adult and 6 young kids in our party. The waitress didn’t bat an eye, she was cheerful, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and tidy. We did not wait long for our food, which tasted good. Our server was attentive, checking on us throughout our stay. The only downside was the prices, which I thought were a bit high.

Great little diner in a small little town. Typical diner fare but done well. Hardly a fudge ‘factory”! There were four baskets of fudge in a little display window! Staff was really friendly, restaurant was very clean, food came out quick and was good. Great ice cream! If you’re camping at Three Island Crossing State Park you should definitely check it out.

Lovely place. The food was really good and the staff very friendly. The waitress and the chef will make you feel like home. First time in this place, we stopped because we were really hungry, and it was totally worth it. Beautiful decoration too. We really appreciate all the advices they gave us about how to drive in the snow! I recommend this place!
