The restaurant was quite busy with both sit down customers and take out. Service was nice, however the is really no dedicated floor service, as she went between counter and floor service. We would have to get her attention at the counter to order drinks or place orders, but she was very friendly and helpful in describing dishes. They serve Pappad and 2 dipping sauces upon seating. We had a party of 4 and ordered appetizers and entrees. We had Tandori chicken and Steamed dumplings for appetizers both were very tasty. All of our entrees we very tasty also.

I am by no means an Indian food aficionado or connoisseur, but I have overall been very pleased by our experiences. The food quality is excellent and the execution is spot on: everything is hot and fresh. The first time we went, my girlfriend got the butter chicken and I got the tikki masala; both excellent although I personally preferred the butter chicken, which is what I have gotten on subsequent visits. The naan with the cottage cheese in it is the best, imo, although the garlic naan and the one with the lamb meat in it is good too. Everybody that was there, customer and employee alike, was having a great time and enjoyed being there! My girlfriend commented that the servers all work together so the team atmosphere is very much a blessing since even most American restaurants don’t do that.

My husband and I thought we’d give this a try. I had curry about 24yrs ago and I was turned off, but this food was INCREDIBLE! Our server was helpful with asking us what we liked..sweet, spicy, savory, etc… We got the Chicken Tikka Appetizer and it came out on a sizzling hot plate! My husband got the Chicken Biryani which the presentation was just as lovely as the flavor!! It was stuffed to the brim with basmati rice and chicken with incredible flavor! Served with a delicious yogurt sauce! I got the Chicken Vinadaloo as I have heard great things about it. It came with a huge amount of basmati rice! Also ordered some amazing garlic Naan! You have a choice of how hot in flavor you would like your food and to be safe, we chose 1. Let me tell you, that was still pretty spicy, but still delicious! The ONLY other thing I would like to comment on is the appetizer and the Vindaloo. Very herbal, but it was very bland and we had to add salt. We were also only offered water, but it works well for all the flavors. Other than that, some of the best food we’ve had in a long time and the prices were great for the portions! We’re definitely going to be coming back!!!! I highly recommend this establishment. Vegetarian friendly!

Had the Himalayan Soup and Alu Paratha both made vegan (on request). Both were delicious. Nice little quiet place. Showed up right as they opened as I’m in town for a Drs appt and had some time to kill. Evansville doesn’t have too many vegan options so I was SO happy someone shared this place in one of my vegan Facebook groups. The service is friendly with an air of some fine dining training. Remember to speak clearly as English is not their first language, but you shouldn’t have language barrier issues. The restaurant is very clean, even the restrooms. Smells lovely when you walk in. If you like Indian food you’ll love it. Delicious spices. Lovely to have a cheaper option than Pangea when I’m in town that isn’t Taco Bell. Will definitely be back.

All I can say is WOW. Every single thing we had was delicious! The space is small but adorable and feels very clean. The staff is friendly and we had excellent service. We needed extra time to browse the menu and we weren’t rushed at all. The four of us shared mango shrimp. Then we each had an entree that came with rice and we had 2 orders of the naan – garlic naan and lamb stuffed naan. I had chicken korma spice level 6 and i devoured it. Well as much as i could. You get a lot of food. 3/4 of us took home leftovers. The rest of the party ordered chicken curry spice level 5, chicken jhalfrezi spice level 5 and lamb curry spice level 4. Everyone was very pleased and left stuffed. They were pretty busy and had steady to go orders but we didn’t wait hardly any time for our food. We will be back again soon!

This place is incredible! The food is great, the staff is friendly, and you can sit down and eat or get carry out. They do have the option for delivery through DoorDash and other places, but it’s always better if you pick it up yourself, or eat there. We have tried the meat and vegetable dishes, and we are never disappointed!

We had never tried food from the Himalayan region before, but we were pleasantly surprised. It has hints of Indian flavor, but it is different. The food was all tasty with the butter chicken being the least spicy/flavorful, but was still good. The restaurant was nice and clean, but it is small and in a strip mall, so it’s not upscale… so not a perfect 5 out of 5, but very close. The staff were all very nice men and appeared to be from the region, so they were helpful with the menu, but you could tell English was a not their first language. All-in-all it was a great meal.
