This was my second stop in Maine. The atmosphere was great and I came on the only sunny day over the weekend and had a great walk in the park after eating. My wife and I had lobster rolls, she had Maine lobster roll and I had the chipotle mayo lobster roll. If your coming here for the taste of fresh lobster then this is it because it just didn’t have enough flavor to me and the same was said by my wife that had the original Maine roll. It’s pretty pricey but that’s expected for a popular lobster truck in Maine.

“Feeding Phil” stopped here on there Maine tour. We were as pleased as they were with a top selection of lobster rolls. I enjoyed their standard ME lobsters roll with mayo. Very delicate and light layer of mayo. Hardly knew it was there. Just the way i like it.

Nothing feels more stereotypical Maine than enjoying a fresh lobster roll at a lighthouse! We’ll occasionally make the “pilgrimage” up from Boston for a day trip to enjoy Bite out of Maine and take in Cape Elizabeth. Is it over the top? Absolutely! But we’ve always felt it was worth it and have never been disappointed

We found this place as a suggestion by various food bloggers and I must say the hype is real. We tried a couple of their lobster rolls. They were loaded with lobster meat and were fresh. Plus the views are unbeatable at this location. Highly recommend it on your visit to the lighthouse. There usually is a line to get the rolls but the service is pretty quick unless they are restocking their supplies.

Does it get any better than delicious lobster rolls at a beautiful location by the ocean? We tried 4 different lobster rolls and all were good. The wasabi and curry were probably my favorite, but all of them were excellent. And of course the kids loved blueberry soda. Very Maine!
