A little gem in echo park. We were two and took the captain. The largest seafood platter. Everything was gorgeous, generous. Maybe we could have use a broader variety of sauces. The lemonade we had was excellent and not sweet at all. The little patio in the back is very cozy and the waitress was very kind and took good care of us. Definitely my new favorite joint for see food in Los Angeles.

The Lonely Oyster is a cut above the rest. The chef and his team miss no detail, the service is impeccable and the cocktails are on point. Also best oysters in LA?! What’s not to love….

What an amazing experience. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. Great drinks and food! Will definitely be back. Anton was our server and he couldn’t have been more hospitable!

I had a great time here! Everything we tried on the menu was so good, and the oysters were so fresh! Plus getting to try all the marionette sauces. The drink options there are good too, definitely worth checking out

Get the steamed mussels in curry sauce. Their fish and chips is fab. Cocktails are fab too. Golden state cider is offered here which I love. Great ambiance and beautiful bar. Valet is 20 bucks. Opens until midnight. Might get a celeb sighting or two here. Service is wonderful.

Absolutely amazing! My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at The Lonely Oyster and were blown away by the incredible food and drinks. The TLO Burger and Wagyu Steak Frites were cooked to perfection and tasted divine. However, the star of the show was definitely the Shrimp Po Boy – the buttery, toasted bun combined with the full soft shell crab made for a truly spectacular meal. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We can’t wait to return to The Lonely Oyster soon!

Great selection of Oysters, attentive staff and drinks that aren’t perfect yet (but giving them a pass since the restaurant just opened). We walked in without a reservation on Friday night around 5:30pm. No wait for a table but it started to get more crowded around 6:30. The Oysters and appetizers came right away, but main course took longer. Branzino Lebanese style was tasty. Definitely coming back!

Best oysters I’ve had in LA. They know what’s up. Great atmosphere. Low key and chill. Fun bartenders. Go there.

When you think of a restaurant, what’s one of the first things you think of? A menu??

We live in the neighborhood and were excited for this place but it’s just OK. The oysters are good but everything is very overpriced. Portions are very small. They’re basically charging fine dining prices for a casual experience and small portions. $19 cocktails that are very small. $32 for two small scallops. Too expensive for what you get. Food is ok. Maybe they’ll figure it out.
