Great Sonoran style (bacon wrapped hot dog that is fried) hot dog, had the Sonora (Fresh beans, onions, green salsa, tomatoes, Mayo, and mustard) and the Vaquero Chile (Beans and Chorizo, roasted green Chile, and cheese). Both were good but like the Vaquero more, too many toppings for my liking on the Sonora, though it was still good. Owner is a really nice guy, location is odd. Recommend.

We first heard about Sonora dogs by watching Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives quite a while ago, but there wasn’t an opportunity to try them in our area. When we recently took a cross-country road trip, I was so excited to find Lalo’s along our route and surprise my hubby with Sonora dogs for dinner. We ordered Sonara dogs, carne asada street tacos, carne asada fries and, of course, Mexican Coke… The food was truly worth the wait! Our food was made to order with fresh ingredients and out of this world flavors. The spices in the carne asada fries are what makes them unique to Lalo’s – so, so good. The service was just as amazing. They were patient and kind – definitely the kind of folks that would be fast friends. It was a wonderful experience. We may just have to move to Las Cruces so we can order Lalo’s again!

It was so awesome to walk up to this truck and feel at home with the Mexican music playing. The service was so great! The lady explained everything since it was mine and my boyfriends first time there❤️ they have such a great selection of hot dogs and other things that peaked my interest. I would have to say I got addicted and found my new spot❤️ if anyone is looking for some awesome hot dogs that not only look good but taste good this is the spot! Will definitely be back

This place has some of the most amazing food I’ve had in a while. I didn’t know this treasure was right in my back yard. This place is a must for the best asada fries and tacos! Homemade sauces and great service with a smile. Thank you Luis! I will be back soon!

Came to Las Cruces for a business trip. I have no idea if this is a good Sonora hot dog or not. But it tastes amazing! Loaded fries are awesome too. I’m amazed at how good it was and the very fair price. Wish this food truck was in my home town. Would eat at again.

First time customer, sure did enjoy it. Customer service was excellent! Lalo took the time to explain the menu and was even kind enough to give me a sample of his Aguas frescos. Which was refreshing and delicious, especially out in the sun. Got my order to go. The vaquero dog and rajas fries I ordered were great and prices were very reasonable! I ordered 2 dogs and 2 half orders of fries plus tip for under $20. I will be going back to try some of the other menu items.

Love stopping by for their hot dogs. They have weekly specials too so you can never get bored of going or trying something different. The only complaint I have is the outdoor seating could be better. But I know they mentioned big updates so I’ll be excited to see that! Great flavors and we go whenever we crave a hot dog 🙂

This is a must stop if you are in the area. The staff are so friendly, they explained the menu very well and offered to customize any of their dishes. The food is delicious! Plenty of outdoor seating also!
