The spicy shrimp were so good. I normally can’t find tender shrimp at a local restaurant, but these were great. The salmon salad was really good also. Great atmosphere. The owners are friends of a friend and extremely welcoming and friendly.

Coming here was a great idea, our orders came out so quickly and we were pleasantly surprised!! I started off with a delicious cup of Clam Chowder with a lot in it, not just a cup filled with liquid. Our meals were great all around, cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The service was good and like our food it was quick, we didn’t have to wait long for anything. They provided warm fresh bread right away with a delicious olive oil mixture that was to die for. The one thing I must say that kept it at four stars was that the drink I ordered tasted like it was just water and flavor mixture, it did nothing for me whatsoever. I recommend going here for a great meal with your family. The location isn’t too big though and so there is a lot of noise as you can hear everyone’s conversation, and everyone needs to talk louder to be heard. The owners were very warm and welcoming as soon as we entered the location, overall a good experience so make sure you give them a try and give this a ‘like’!

This place was pretty good, nothing exceptional. The service was really nice and made sure we had everything we needed, but it gets super loud if there’s more than a few people in the restaurant. Pretty dim lighting if you’re not by a window and the dishes/glasses weren’t completely clean. The food was decent but don’t think it’s worth the price.

After we were seated at a table by a server, a woman who we later learned as the owners wife came over and yelled at us saying ‘we can’t seat ourselves’. She did not allow us to tell her that we didn’t just seat ourselves. We tried to show grace since it was very busy at the restaurant but after placing our order and not receiving our food for over an hour, my husband spoke to the waiter and let him know that we already saw several people who had come in after us receiving their food and already leaving. We don’t blame the waiter for any of this, he was extremely apologetic and very kind. I just wish the owner’s wife would have been just as kind. We are local to the area and have supported this business for many years but this is unacceptable service.

I have tried the seafood pasta, ahi tuna, and Mahi Mahi. All were excellent! There is a bottle of wine on each table. Nice atmosphere. The bar is jumpin’! The tables are well spaced for holding conversations, which is good because the ceiling is hard, fairly smooth and unobstructed so sound carries. The restaurant is not open long hours. Consider making a reservation. Usually able to park right outside the restaurant. Parking is free.

We go here every time we visit our friends in Calabash and the food is consistent and wonderful! Great wine selection, fresh seafood and delicious dishes every time. Mac and his team always make it an enjoyable evening and we highly recommend!
