I ordered the combo with three gorditas, I got the Carne desebrada, bean and cheese, and chicken chipotle. All were good, soft and warm but on the small size. Aguas Frescas are good, we got the cucumber and pineapple and melon. Server was friendly and food came fast

Visiting from Dallas TX the staff was friendly and food was fabulous!! Would recommend this location to travelers or locals. Really enjoyed the atmosphere! The lemonade is so refreshing! The portions are large! We are the gorditas and tacos. Don’t miss out on this Gem of a restaurant!!

Probably the best Mexican food I have had in the US. Menudo very rich with large pieces of pancita. Salsa habanero could rival any in Mexico. Green salsa also outstanding. Jamaica comes in a giant traditional Mexican style cup/pitcher with ice. I was so blown away by the food that I returned for Breakfast. Thier South Texas barbacoa has made my top 5. Eggs prepared perfect. Side potatoes in a red salsa is unique and delicious. Great flour tortillas. Everythiing is prepared with little to no grease. All food comes with condiments of onion, serrano, and limes. El Fantasma and Los dos de Tamaulipas on the TV to entertain. Great service.

one of the waitresses was very rude when we got there! we ordered only 3 tacos for take out and they took forever. later when we ate our tacos, my sister pulled out a hair from the barbacoa!! i used to love coming to this place but now i will never come back! worst service ever

Stopped to eat gorditas and loved the food. The restaurant inside is really authentic down to the Mexican jarritos. Its staff is superb because they make you feel welcome and make knowledgeable food suggestions. I would really recommend it to anyone that is in the area.

The barbacoa taco, I had in the morning didn’t taste fresh. My personal opinion, it was too expensive, honestly. I could of went to strips.
