Still in the Cali time zone so finding something open in Ewa Beach before 6am wasn’t a fast food chain was awesome! The ladies helped me order and were super nice. Food was great. The shop was clean and organized. Will visit several times before leaving Hawaii ❤️

Decent Filipino specialty foods. If you are up early and wanna skip the fast food chains then this is your spot if you are in the area. They open at 5:00am. Just know this is a small shop. I wouldn’t plan to dine in if more than 2people.

Nice selection of hot food, fried snacks and baked goods. I only had the turon, or banana lumpia, which I guess is what Hawaiians call it. The exterior was great, really crispy with a sweet caramel coating, but the plantain inside was dry and kinda hard. My family got the 3 item combo plates and were pretty happy with how everything tasted, even the dinuguan, or blood stew.

Don’t expect ice/cream dessert at dinner time. They literally told me they were to lazy to clean it because they close 7pm. MIND YOU THEY CLOSE 8PM! This is everyday.

Service is slow during peak hours. The food is bland, mediocre at best. I prefer Juliez, Max’s and Thelma’s. I only go to Golden Coin out of convenience. It’s less than 2 miles from my house.

I don’t do reviews often, but was very disappointed in the few things I tried here. pancit was plain, just no flavor. the vegetable egg roll honestly was bad- tasted like dirt to me, couldn’t finish it. the banana lumpia was edible but my least favorite out of the few other places I’ve tried. really want to like this place because it is so convenient to home, but just can’t endorse it :-/

I believed all customers deserved to be treated with respect and courtesy at all times. Unfortunately this is something that we didn’t feel when we had visited the Ewa Beach branch very recently. No greetings. Staff on duty were very grouchy and irritated when asked about their products. The staff named Virginia Kabi was really rude and disrespectful. I also noticed that she is only wearing one gloves which i believed she should have worn gloves on both of her hands since it involves food handling.

Ewa Beach Golden Coin, pls check the taste or lack of taste of your pandesal. Yesterday we bought a dozen and it was very disappointing. Lack sugar and salt. Usually you could just eat it plain but yesterday, even with eggs and sausages in it, the bread was tasteless.

Their food looks good which is a good thing for me but the taste, nah, they could have done better. It will make you more upset because their prices aren’t cheap. Only their hot pandesal and empanada that’s kine good for me and worth my money.
