Literally one of the best pizza places in the world! If you know a better pizza place in Southern California please show me! The staff is super friendly. The location is pretty amazing. Not very far from the freeway. Parking can be a bit challenging, but it’s well worth the effort. It is in a great part of the city, and there are always friendly people nearby. Grab a slice, or a whole pie! The price is extremely fair! I love this place!

This place is buzzing! It’s quite busy so there’s a bit of a wait but the atmosphere made it not a problem at all. The people working and the other customers were all very friendly and I had a super fun time! Also, the food is amazing! And very well priced. Just be aware that they are CASH ONLY. They have an ATM inside the building but I’d bring cash with you so you don’t have to hassle with it.

These are New Yorkers, so, if you’re expecting to be greeted with warm and fuzzy kindness, you will be sorely disappointed. They are there to sell you pizza and that is it. The disappointing thing is that they got rid of the soda fountain and just give you cans. I’ve been going to this location for 25 years.

After a hike of Cowles Mountain, some friends and I treated ourselves to Bronx Pizza. I’m lucky enough to live in the neighborhood, so this is a great, occasional treat. We always get the Bronx Deluxe, their version of a Supreme Pizza. They only make one size if you get the whole pie, but they also sell by the slice. One Bronx Deluxe and a salad each was a perfect size meal for three. Delicious as always! One important note is that Bronx is cash only, so prepare ahead. The menu, the service, and the restaurant are very simple. Not fine-dining; just a good evening out with friends.

What happened to Bronx? What was once the hidden gem of San Diego has taken a significant turn for the worst (or maybe I got unlucky). In town visiting my favorite old pizza spot today, I got a cheese pie that was easily the worst I’ve ever had from Bronx.
