This is a very nice place to eat. We had a waitress named Carmen. A lovely young lady who made sure we wanted for nothing. She was alert and very patient. The food was good. A trip to the salsa bar made it even better. The salsa verde was really good. If I have any complaints, it would have to be about the salsa that was brought to our table when we arrived. It was very runny and weak flavored. Other than that, it was a nice meal.

This is the second time here. Once again they did not disappoint. Food was delicious and each dish felt inspired. The staff was attentive and courteous. We got seated right away and complementary nachos were warm and salsa was fresh tasting. Definitely coming back next time. This is easily already our favorite Mexican place to dine in Hickory.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT AROUND !! We Eat here daily and have gotten to the point of just telling them to Surprise Us when we order as EVERYTHING they bring out is Delicious. The staff is Super Friendly and you never wait on Anything and are always Smiling. Even on our bad days we leave Full Happy and In a Great Mood.

We’ve ate here several times and have really enjoyed it. The rum buckets are awesome and food has been good up until the other night. I’ve ordered the Alambres several times and enjoy it, would be better if the veggies were cut a little smaller to get cooked more. We went Friday evening and I ordered the Alambres again. I ate a small amount, as I got full fast. A few hours after getting home I started to feel sick and then got sick. I got food poisoning from undercooked meat, the bacon to be exact. We looked at my leftovers we brought home and you can tell the bacon was not cooked properly. I feel this is due to large pieces of items on skewers. I haven’t been sick that way or felt that pain before and never want to again. I’d suggest downsizing the size of veggies and cooking the bacon some before putting it on the skewers.

We waited for nearly an hour for our food but In the meantime our waiter came over to our table 3 times with other people’s food from the kitchen, asking if that was our food. We asked 3 times for salsa, never got any more. So finally a lady came over to tell us our order was lost by our waiter aand never put in. We should have known we wasn’t going to get any food when our waiter told us that he was feeling good after his break.

The service was bad I can’t tell you when a waitress has left and never came to assist customers because they or she never came back until we was getting ready to leave. Before that the food didn’t taste authentic at all it might as well have been white people food because the chicken was dry and tortillas tasted like it’s been sitting out for days and hard at the end meaning they weren’t fresh. This is our second time and only time we come there. Not getting business from us. She didn’t even come to check on us about anything not asking us for refills or anything she just waited until we was about to leave . My husband had to ask someone esle for a refill because the lady wasn’t doing her job! I tell you if you want a tip then act like a server(s) wait(ress). Definitely will not be coming back there.
