Stopped into the Winged Bear this weekend and had a great time! Their veggie pizza is a go to. While we were there, got to play some pinball in their new arcade. Really enjoyed their fun speciality cocktail menu. Next time you stop in, you gotta try the Dano’s Dangerous Margarita. Definitely going back with more friends!

Pretty typical “high end” pizza joint. Calamari was good but a dip other than marinara would be nice. Pizzas were good and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Our server was very polite and courteous without being overly attentive. Also, if you’re a fan of vintage arcade games and pinball this is the place for you.

We went here for a lunch, had a giant pretzel, it was very good, cheese and mustard were excellent. Would get it again! We also ordered a Hawaiian pizza, it was great, perfect crust, ingredients were fresh, zero complaints. We also got a piece of carrot cake for dessert, it was also very good. The icing was pretty amazing, great experience overall, service was excellent, good atmosphere, wasn’t very busy. Will absolutely come back.

Friday at 6 pm. Lots of people getting takeout filling up the joint. Decided to take a seat. Really glad I did. Top notch Pub-fare food right here. Might be the best Simsbury has to offer on that note. Mozz sticks are oversized. Thai chili wings had a food mix of tangy and spice. The pizza had an on-point crust (crispy outside, doughy/airy inside) and a great special sauce. A lil more burger on it would’ve made it unstoppably delicious.

We went to The Winged Bear for lunch. It was our first time back since the covid shutdown. I am happy to report that they are serving the same excellent food. The Cuban sandwich I had was very good and everyone else liked their meals as well. The waiter was friendly and helpful but not overly friendly. The meals came out quickly but we weren’t rushed at all. The prices are fair. They should update their online information because only Google has their hours. We’ll be back.

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. The food is delicious, the waiters are amazing and the pin ball machines are so cool. 10/10 would recommend the Winged Bear and Maple Tree Cafe to a friend!!

Went in yesterday for Dinner. Mango Habanero wings were absolutely delicious but way hotter than anticipated, asked the server what sauce they use and they said they make it in house from scratch. Flavor profile is amazing but these are some certified sinus clearers right here. Place was pretty much empty, great relaxed/quiet environment. Perfect place for a quick bite and a beer without crowds.

We ordered a large pizza by delivery from this place yesterday and had it delivered. We paid a $2 tip. The pizza was full of burnt black particles. I brought the pizza to the restaurant to complain about the quality of the pizza which cost about $25.

Had some mixed drinks (made at the Maple Tree next door), a HUGE calzone and a pizza. Everything was fantastic. Service with Jocylyn was great. She was friendly and we never had to wait too long.
